My experience at kinnick falls was a great experience I really enjoyed the programming learning new tools and learning more about myself and my counselor Amy Viellieix

I came to Kinnic directly from Burkwood treatment center. I was told that you have enough freedom here to lasso the world or to hang yourself. Now being at Kinnic in a twon with alot of bars, a college, and liquor being sold at gas stations, immediately I seen what they meant. But if your here to better your life, set yourself uo for success, and taki g your recovery seriously, this is the place to to so. The Tech's who are mostly ex clients are amazing, wonderful, and just the right people for the job. Going beyond that to where people come in to speak, set you up for a job, and share endless knowledge of recovery is a daily thing. The counselors here are loving, caring people who truly want the best for you. I had Matt, and I made a friend for life. He stepped uo when I really needed someone, not just on a professional level, but a human being. He showed me love, and understanding and did not leave my side until he felt I was ok, that included staying after work and getting me ice cream and pizza. Im not the type to get close to people in this world, but coming up on my last day I feel sadness, and there will be part of me that will have a hole in it. How do I replace a place like this, I cant, but I can remain in recovery and the AA community. So if your questioning whether or not to come here.... DO IT!!!!!! Thank you to each and everyone of you at Kinnnic Falls! Love yall, love Tony D.

Was really good at first, but found out this place is a very unfair treatment they allowed others to show up late and fail multiple uas but the second I showed up late they kicked me out, very unfair treatment. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Stabbed in the back and thrown out into the streets with no warning and no chance to tell my side of the story. Over two-and-a-half months into the program and never disciplined once over anything. Not one red check mark during the entire time. Never late for group, never missed a group, helped around the house constantly, was enthusiastic about the program. They did this to me and other very good dudes for minor infractions while letting others get away with literally almost burning the house down. So sad it ended this way. Hard to fathom that after all this time getting to know people and spilling your guts out to try and get better, they treat you like a bag of trash. Kate is an unreasonable, bitter, frail, old woman who pretends to care, but has a heart of stone. I will miss many of the guys. Not even a chance for a proper goodbye. Heartbreaking ending to it all. As in literally, my heart is broken right now. I truly loved some of the people.

Went through here a number of years ago and have nothing but good things to say about it. If you're 35+ you might feel a little out of place, mostly younger people but the staff is top notch, food is good and it's reasonably comfortable. Huge emphasis on recovery, you definitely need to follow the rules here or they will street you, zero tolerance for drug use
