KIRKWOOD ORANGE

Moved my parents in two weeks ago into the assisted living side of Kirkwood Orange - dad who is 7 years into his Alzheimer’s diagnosis and mom who was emotionally, mentally and physically shutting down. In the short 2 weeks there, she’s engaging, making friends, and actually living vs just existing. It is truly heartwarming to see my mom experience the joy, happiness and peace she so deserves and hear friends from all walks of her life say they can hear the smile back in her voice, that this was the best thing I could have done for her and that I probably saved her life. Although my dad’s transition is different due to his Alzheimer’s, I am extremely proud to see him also engaging, making friends and finding his purpose to take care of my mom. Kirkwood is instrumental in their success with this transition and all their team members truly care about their residents and doing what’s best for them. Looking forward to partnering with MBK and Kirkwood Orange on this journey with my parents

Love this place. Clean, bright, open, high ceilings, nice furniture, smells good, great accessible backyard. And somehow Kirkwood is more affordable than other places I’ve used or visited. My mom loves it too. But the best part is the staff. They are wonderful. I visit my mom often and they all know my name and are friendly and most of the time my mom is sitting in the living room or backyard with one or more attendants playing games, chatting and laughing. I find it heart warming. Kirkwood is better than her previous home.

I recently visited Kirkwood Orange and had a very positive experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and responsive. The community was clean, well-organized, and had a calm atmosphere. I was able to get all my questions answered, and I felt that the residents were comfortable and well looked after. Nurse Putri Tarigan was especially helpful and caring during my visit. She took the time to speak with me, explain how care is managed, and made sure I felt supported throughout the process.

Kirkwood is a lovely, cozy community. I was warmly welcomed by Megan, the Executive Director. Upon observing around, the residents are well-taken of by Putri, the on-site nurse, and her team. I always love stopping by and saying "Hi" to the wonderful staff and residents! (The Activities department is also always killing it with the themed decorations and fun events - here's a picture of fall/Halloween time)

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kirkwood of Orange! The level of care and attention given to their residents is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and compassion that fills the community. A heartfelt thank you to Putri Tarigan, the incredible Wellness Director, whose warmth, dedication, and leadership make all the difference. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel at home and well taken care of. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated like family and surrounded by true care, Kirkwood of Orange is the place.
