The staff is warm and wonderfull. My mother in law was a patient here and got the best care. The employees were all great. She especially liked the transportation driver because he was so friendly and talked to her to her appointments and back! I will be recommending them.

Eric is a nice guy and a great driver. He was dependable and didn’t leave until the Dr got me admitted. I was more worried about him driving back in the dark. You have a great staff and the therapists are out of this world!!

My aunt lived in Lakeview 5+ years. She was legally blind, had memory loss, and for the last few years was confined to a wheel chair. I visited her random days, about 4 times a month, at all hours. . She was always clean, dressed neatly and appropriately, hair braided, and comfortable. She liked the hot meals, the staff attention, and her favorite tea, which they brought her between meals. The administrators and staff were good communicators. On my visits, I had frequent interactions with both. They were prompt, receptive and helpful when I had questions. I was made aware of the need for booster vaccinations and changes in meds and was given good advice about Medicaid paperwork. I was invited to quarterly meetings to discuss my and their concerns about her mental and physical health. Lakeview was a good fit for my aunt (she passed in late October 2025 at age 99.) I think they took great care of her.

I recently stayed at Lakeview Manor for a week following hip surgery, for rehab purposes. This is a skilled nursing facility with mostly long-term care residence. The rehab, I did get served its purpose for the short time.; However, this is not a facility for long-term rehab. I was treated very well by all the personnel. The PT and OT personnel were fantastic and definitely pay attention to their patients. (Shout out to Angie, Heather and Rose.) The admin and activities directors are fantastic. (Shouts out to Tracy and Misty in particular.) The CNAs work very hard And, for the most part, I had good ones. Well, I had several helped me, Emelda and Lisa were the CNAs who I had the most time with and they were fantastic. (Lisa will make a great nurse someday soon.) There were several others who attended me and they were fantastic, as well. Apologies for not remembering everyone’s name. The nursing staff was fantastic. There were a few glitches with getting my meds, correct but we ironed it all out. One nurse in particular, Julie, was a godsend. There was several other nursing/administrative people who were extremely helpful. (Shout out to Karen and Kristi.) Finally, everyone with whom I had contact in the food service area was very nice. However, the food itself at this facility needs to take a few steps up. Overall, I would definitely recommend this facility. They definitely do a lot to keep you active and participate in events. Everyone involved in the activities was fantastic. Besides Misty, they were a couple other people and I can’t remember their names but they were fantastic. And Eric is a fantastic member of your facility. Thank you all for taking good care of me.

So impressed with my dad’s rehab stay. We had been to another in a facility in Tawas and did not have a great experience. Was very reluctant to send by dad back to rehab. Best decision we made. Clean, no smells and all private rooms, staff was very helpful. So happy my dad will stay here long term.
