LA COSTA COASTAL CARE

I feel very fortunate to have found such a great place for my loved one to live. The facility is bright, clean and welcoming and the staff is caring, attentive and friendly. Luka, the facility administrator, is exceptional. He communicates well about any needs or concerns that may arise, he works well with other agency caregivers that are involved and is present and involved in the care provided. I feel 100% confident that my loved one is well taken care of at La Costa Coastal Care.

My sister was in an accident resulting in traumatic brain injury. The hospital social worker highly recommended La Costa Coastal Care for the 24/7 care she would need. After meeting Luka Subotic, the administrator, his staff, and checking the place, we knew this was the ideal place. He and his staff were very caring and patient with her ( she could and was difficult at times!) Luka kept me up to date on everything: her reactions to what we sent her, including sending pictures, any problems that came up, her medical reports, etc. He always answered any questions or worries the same day. I never worried about her, thanks to the staff, even at the peak of the covid chaos, the cleanliness of the place, and the excellent home cooked meals. I give La Costa Coastal Care 6 out of 5 stars! I am extreamly grateful that i found La Costa Coastal care. My Mother was diagnosed with Parkinsons and was unable to care for my Father who was in late stages of Alzheimers. My sister and i visited several board and care facilities and were disappointed. My Mother's hospice nurse highly recommended Luka's House. Upon entering the house we knew that we had found the right spot. His home is very warm and welcoming. The bedrooms are large and tastfuly decorated. the family room is spacious with a large televesion for the residents. Most importantly the staff is careing and compasionate. All of my parents needs are met. communication between the staff, myself and Luka is excellent. i am able to visit my parents and it has been such a blessing to no longer worry about their saftey.

I had peace of mind knowing my mum was living in an clean, safe, and caring environment. That her needs could be met, day or night. La Costa Coastal Care and Hospice of the South Coast were very professional in their relationship, and cared for my mum as a team. Luca and his staff truly have a heart for service. Luca always returned my messages very efficiently. He also kept me informed of any changes occurring with my mum with that same efficiency. I always felt involved and informed, even in the midst of a pandemic. I highly recommend La Costa Coastal Care.

La Costa Coastal home was highly referred to me by several people in the healthcare system when I needed a find a home for my mother as her dementia progressed. I heard from hospice nurses and social worker, hospital staff, and an elderly advocate that La Costa was a well run, clean, loving environment and a long-time family run business. (I'm the type of person who asks everyone their opinion!) I was so assured that I kept hearing good things about La Costa from those who would know so I moved in my mother. I wasn't let down. The home is beautiful (newly renovated), very well cared for and spotless. There is a nice garden space and deck for outdoor time. The residents were well groomed and looked very cared for. My mother loved her room and kept asking who's home she was in and whether it was okay that she stayed in such a nice place. The staff is always very compassionate and gentle with my mom. She loves them! And she would sure tell me if she wasn't happy there! I am frequently updated on my mother's condition and it is very easy to communicate with the staff. Highly recommend!
