LA POSADA

This place is wonderful! the staff is so caring, loving, a blessing. They were so good to my mom she was well taken care of in memory care. They are Awesome! Bee, Daisy medtech, Brianna 1, Brianna 2, Maria, Mathew, Maria Receptionist all their memory care staff. I totally recommend this place for your loved ones. Take care and good luck to you all. La Posada is a wonderful place! The staff is so caring and helpful. Every time I visit I’m greeted with the nicest people. They are so welcoming and warm. I love all the activities they have for their residents. They have cute signs on the doors for their birthdays to make them feel extra special. The garden is lovely too!

I have personally visited every single Assisted Living home in Whittier and La Habra and must say this place is by far the cleanest (apart from a more high end one) in town. We also loved the cozy atmosphere too. In my search for a home for my late father, I have seen elderly wandering around needing help in other places but that never happened in La Posado. I have spent significant amount of time with my father there. It did take some patience to communicate what we need with one or two carers but the rest of the team has been helpful, attentive and supportive. And the cleanliness and good air quality are real thing round the clock - not like staging you might see in those marketing tour. I chitchatted with some of my father's neighbours. They were happy and said the food was great too (can't comment- never tried). It was excruciating in my father's final days but everyone has been supportive. The med tech team made sure my father was in peace and without pain all thru the time. Would like to express my gratitude to Diane, Ashley and Andrea - a lot of my other sweet people I would like to say thanks too but I was just too pre-occupied to get names in my mind. They are just amazing people

I'm definitely going to like coming to La Posada in this Whittier community where my grandfather Henry will be comfortable at his new home with other seniors. I will plan on visiting Grandpa Henry at least once a week when he settles in.

I am giving them 5 stars because even though the facility isn't perfect and there have been some minor issues that have needed to be worked out, the staff has been pretty great. This is the third facility I have worked with because the first 2 my mom hated. She has now been there over a year and she is happy. Of course, she would rather be at home, but since that's not an option, La Posada is the next best thing. They provide a level of care that she did not receive at the other places. My mom will even eat the food here. She isn't happy about what they serve, but we supplement her with snacks. The staff will randomly come and visit with her since she doesn't want visitors. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and since she is happy that's what's important.
