10 out of 10 on every level. This place has been a dream come true for my wife and I. The staff treats my Father-in-law like family, and that is no joke. We had both my in-laws in a very expensive high end retirement home with hundreds of guests and lots of activities, but the care was just not personal. Her Dad is a WWII Vet and he is very precious to us. Though he has dementia, he immediately recognized he was in a better place at La Valhalla. He was happy, content, treated with respect and given care beyond what we could ever have provided him at home. It was such a burden off our shoulders to know he was there. When we came to visit it was such a good feeling to hear the staff and few residents (3 total right now) laughing out loud and really enjoying each others company. So different and so much better than the big retirement home! We can't recommend this place enough.
