So im 53 now I was in LadLake in 1985-1987 I was there for 18 months. My sentence was 12 I chose to stay. Yall changed my life Scott John was my main staff that helped me I stayed for 6 months in the new dorm first class to stay there. I went to kettle morraine hs my last year there. They took care of me and helped me put my head on straight. I'd love to come and give my testimony and help as many kids as possible of I could. LL was a life saver for me and many of my friends that where there. Robert Schankey class of 85'-87' thank you LL staff And to all of you goin off cuz kids ran away the parents chose to be bad parents and allow their kids to go to a home these are teenagers not little girls they can make their own choices I ran away 7 times in my first 6 months they notified who was needed!!

This place is a joke. If I could I would give the place zero stars. The kids run the place. Our kid had stuff stolen from the staff and was not returned. No accountability and staff don't care for the kids. I would never send anyone there. They are actually better off in jail.

Girl is missing and you say ( in your previous response) that you called the wrong number out of several you had. Why wouldn’t you call every number you had to contact her parents? This makes zero sense to me!!

I’m sure allowing a teen whom is not from the area just up and leave and not notify anyone of her leaving for 2 days the first 12 hours are the most crucial. Why was the police not called that she was a run away. And every effort should have been made to contact her family. The amount of kids missing from Milwaukee is scary and now you have this poor young girl who I hope sees her flyers her father is putting up around Milwaukee she is to contact someone.

They let my niece walk out and didn't notify her parents until 48 hours later! She is still missing it has now been 5 days.
