Don’t put your loved ones here!! Arrived day one at 10 am and at 6 pm still hadn’t received any food that day!! Family member needed assistance to move and wasn’t given a pendant and when asked for it told they don’t use those but could get one in a couple days. Same time another person’s pendant was going off as they’re stripping off their depends in my parent’s doorway. When pendant was issued and family member pushed it after falling took two pushes and 15 minutes for a response. Fire alarm started on a Friday and was going steady until following Monday!! Thieves-took two months pay for 5 days!!

Last night I was there visiting when the storm hit. Lightening struck close to the building and the fire alarms went off. The staff calmly and efficiently evacuated residents to a place of safety. Staff remained calm and gave extra care to the residents that were afraid or upset. The residents enjoyed snacks and water and it proved to be calming as the firemen checked out the entire building. After getting the 'OK' from the fire department, the residents were returned to their rooms in a very calm and orderly fashion. Thank you to the Staff for caring calmly, efficiently and safely for our loved ones. Thank you all!

This is an amazing place. Love the atmosphere. The residents seem to be very happy. They have wonderful activities every day for the residents. There is always something to do and people to talk to. Very friendly staff. The meals are great and filling for the residents as well. There is always a snack available if the residents need one. Staff available 24/7. Great community of residents. I feel very welcomed everytime I walk into the building. You should definitely consider Lake Hallie Memory Care for your loved ones.

I was at the facility last night during an emergency and the staff handled everything amazingly. They kept calm and in turn were able to keep the residents calm

I stopped by for a tour, which was scheduled with someone there. When I arrived, I tried to follow the directions on the door. There were many people in the "lobby" area and more than one person behind the reception desk, but no one answered the phone. It just kept ringing. As I was waiting for someone to answer, one lady, who appeared to be leaving, came out and questioned if I was there to see somebody, as she closed the door behind her. Another lady came to the door and opened it, while the first one said that she was trying to hold the door open for me....? I hung up the phone and entered the facility. I went to reception and said that I was there to see Michelle. The gal at the desk acknowledged this and said she'd be right there. Meanwhile, as i looked around, I see a young woman mock-punching a young man! There are around ten people with name tags moving around the area, so they seem adequately staffed. Another lady goes behind the desk and asked if I was there for an interview. When I explained I was there for a tour, she made a face, threw her phone down on the desk and left the area. A couple minutes later, she reappeared and said that another person (Allie?) would be giving me a tour as she "has a bad knee." This does not appear to be warm or welcoming. "Michelle," if that is who was making faces and complaining about her knee, never introduced herself or wore any identification. I hope the director re-thinks about the tour guide. After a few minutes, I left without a tour. I would not want my mom to be treated like I was If she were to be a resident there. I will say the grounds are beautiful. The place looks modern, and inviting, even though the staff is not.
