LAKE HOUSE ASSISTED LIVING

Wonderful facility/grounds, admin/staff, and all around ambiance. From the time you walk in, until you leave, you feel like you are in a luxury hotel or a large mansion. Jessica McNair and Paige were extremely accommodating, understanding, and helpful. BEAUTIFUL decor, excellent paint color choice, high ceilings in the common area (and upstairs studios) which is extremely large, accommodating, and even has multiple skylights bringing in a bright, natural light to the common area. Brings a warm welcoming feeling to your heart. Many residents were in there during our tour and seemed to really be enjoying themselves talking about the weekly activities and outings coming up. As you walk through the facility and arrive at the dining area, its is very nicely set up with glasses and utensils for the 3 meals a day served. The guests get a full dining experience from a menu of items they choose themselves to eat, in a public and social dining setting. There are also TV's for guest entertainment while dining. The facility offers multiple floorplans of efficiency/studio apartment ranging in many sizes, also including 1 and I believe 2 bedrooms. For what is included, room and board, amenities, freedom to roam ground, staff assistance, etc the pricing is below average from what research I have done. I am in the process of trying to get my mother transferred here, however with her terminal illness causing other illnesses, its in the air as of now. Either way, I would love to work at a place like this, this place specifically, as I've been my mothers caretaker for 8 years prior to having to go into the nursing home recently. It feels wonderful to be around and assist those seniors who need it without degrading them or taking away the independence/freedom. It warms my heart. Love LAKE HOUSE!

If your looking for a place for a loved one. Lakehouse is for them. It's very safe and we look after each other, we are family and yes we do have squabbles like any family. But join us and I forgot the most 2 important things the food is 5 stars and the staff is top notch. So give us a call and take a tour you want regret it at all.

Lake House Assisted Living has been such a blessing for our family. The staff truly care and treat my loved one with kindness and respect every single day. The entire management team goes above and beyond to make residents feel safe, loved, and valued. I have such peace of mind knowing my loved one is surrounded by people who genuinely care. Lake House Assisted Living was a true home for my mother for three years. The facility is more like a home and the quiet little lake was a daily respite. Here she found professional care, an active fulfilling social life, great meals, entertainment and beautiful, caring staff. May God bless and keep you all.

My mother spent her last 2 years in Memory Care at The Lakehouse. It was the absolute best place for her. She was treated with care, love and respect. It wasn’t an easy transition for her the first couple of weeks. She suffered from dementia and it got to the point where we couldn’t care for her at home any longer. The staff helped her feel welcome and got her into a routine, which is important for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She thrived in that environment. The Memory Care staff was amazing and treated the whole unit as a little family. She laughed, they hugged her and made it a point to get to know her as a person. They always made sure their day was filled with activities with things like music, puzzles, crafts, and fun themed events and holidays. Those who could, were taken for walks outside and small little field trips when possible. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and living situation for my mother. I can’t thank the staff enough who cared for her and the administration who worked with me to make sure I was always updated and involved in her care. I would highly recommend The Lakehouse to anyone that needed a home for their loved one. It’s a very hard decision for all when you have to turn the care of your loved one over to someone else. My mind was at peace, knowing that she was in a place that cared for her the way that I would have.
