Moving my mom into Lake Wylie Assisted Living & Memory Care was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for her. She has been in assisted living for the last 5 years, and the difference in the care she receives here is truly unbelievable. What moving her here did was show us just how neglected she was previously. It’s been a night and day difference. The staff is phenomenal, and we could not appreciate them more!

After experiencing three different upscale assisted living/memory care facilities that sadly fell short in providing the care Mom truly needed, we finally found a memory care community that feels like home for both her and our family. As a Daughter who visited 2 to 4 times a week, I was constantly worried and never felt ease with a level of attention she was receiving. There were always too few staff for too many residents, and my mom’s needs were often overlooked. That all changed when we found this facility. The staff here are attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in Mom‘s well-being. They make sure she’s comfortable, eating well, and staying engaged. I love that they encourage her to participate in activities like crafts, light exercise, and even simple walks outside her room. It’s clear they care not just professionally, but personally. I’ve heard multiple staff members say how much they love my mom and I can see it in the way they interact with her. Most importantly, I can tell she’s in good spirits. That means everything to me. Whatever quality of life she has left, I want it to be filled with dignity, kindness, and care and that’s exactly what she’s receiving here. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would only because the facility itself could benefit from some updated renovations. That said, the staff does an excellent job, keeping everything clean and welcoming, and their dedication more than makes up for any cosmetic shortcomings. I’m beyond grateful to have found a place where Mom is not just being looked after, but truly care for.

My father is so happy here. The food is wonderful. He loves his apartment. There are two staff that go above and beyond. They are Tameka and Sima, a concierge. Both have been extremely helpful to my dad and me, as well as the other residents. Although my father is not involved in the activities, they do have plenty of them. They always have a Thanksgiving feast the week before Thanksgiving and their chef is excellent. This facility was recommended to me by two different people. Our experience has been good here.

I have had such an amazing experience with LWAL. This facility is clean, the staff are genuine and caring, and the level of care delivered is incredible. The piece of mind I have from knowing that my grandparents are in such capable and caring hands is an amazing feeling. I honestly cannot cheer enough for this amazing place. The people are incredible and they honestly are lifesavers!!

My family had a really good experience at Lake Wylie Assisted Living. We finally had to move her because she needed more care than the "Assisted Living" level provides. I liked to stop in at different times of the day and night to see my mom. When my mom first got there and before her health declined - she enjoyed the socialization and activities provided. There were wine and cheese gatherings, trips to Wal-Mart, gardens and other places. There are numerous Bible studies, worship opportunities, movie time, music, and crafts. The food was good and there was a varied menu. I loved the staff. From the front desk to the med techs. I found them all patient and kind. I also appreciate that the management was patient with us while we figured out as a family the next steps as it became apparent that my mom needed more assistance. I think it is important to understand the difference between assisted living v. a nursing home. This is not a Nursing home. This is an assisted living facility. Several of the people that stay here are still somewhat independent. Some of them even have pets, drive cars, etc. The social opportunities and meals were great for mom. Having some one help her with her pills was wonderful. We had a good experience.
