Before moving to Lakepark Family Care, my mother had been in a large assisted living facility where she suffered multiple falls and wasn’t receiving the level of attention she required. Lakepark was recommended to us, and choosing it turned out to be one of the best decisions our family has ever made. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with a genuine sense of warmth, compassion, and professionalism. During the 18 months she lived there, she didn’t experience a single fall, never developed a bedsore, and the quality of care she received far exceeded that of any previous facility. This private home stands out in every way. The environment is not only clean and beautifully maintained but also feels just like home—cozy, safe, and welcoming. The staff are beyond exceptional; they don’t just “do their job,” they genuinely care. Each resident is treated with dignity, patience, and kindness, and it’s clear that the caregivers are passionate about what they do. Communication with the family is consistent and thoughtful. My memories of Lakepark Family Care Home will always center most on the kindness of the caring, capable, experienced staff who took care of my mom while she was there. The atmosphere of the home was calm and welcoming from my initial tour visit through my almost daily visits to see my mom. I am a Home Health registered nurse and have provided care for a resident of Lakepark over the last 2 years. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a small , quiet assisted living home for your loved one. The caregivers provide excellent care to residents, the home is immaculately clean, well decorated and there is music and activities for residents able to participate. The safety , care and comfort of all residents are the priorities here!

My mom has been a resident at Lake Park Family Care Home for more than a year. She has Alzheimer's and all of the caregivers have so much patience and compassion for her. They truly care about her well being and provide her with a safe and loving environment. Mom receives delicious home cooked meals customized to her likes and special needs. The house always smells like either something yummy cooking or relaxing lavender aroma therapy. There's usually music playing- one resident loves classic hymns, one loves Elvis, and mom loves Lawrence Welk. The staff really get to know the residents and provide a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The staff also collaborate with families in the care planning for the seniors. It is a true partnership ensuring a seamless transition from home or other long term care facility. Lake Park Family Care Home is a truly wonderful place and I wish all senior living facilities were as comprehensive and attentive in their care for this very vulnerable population.
