LakePoint is an exceptional place for loved ones. From what I’ve personally encountered and seen, the place is well kept, has a dedicated team of hardworking knowledgeable nurses, and desire to take the best care of their patients. They’ve always been very welcoming and respectful and truly understand the value of taking care of another’s loved ones when we aren’t capable ourselves. They’ve always answered questions or concerns with honesty and has taken accountability for mistakes when they do happen, because they do. My experience has been nothing but positive. I’d recommend LakePoint.

My mother is a resident here. She gets visits several times per week from my brother. The residents were allowed to sit outside and enjoy people passing by and just enjoy the sunshine. They were recently told they are not allowed to do that any longer. They now have to sit in the back where there is nothing to see and no one passing by. She said she feels like they are hiding them or they are like prisoners. I believe there could be a designated place in the front for the residents to sit and enjoy being outside and enjoy what they see. This allows them to feel like they are still alive. I hope this post reaches someone who can facilitate change.
