LAKES AT LITCHFIELD ASSISTED LIVING

Jamie Phillipp, the Transition Specialist at Lakes at Litchfield, a CCRC in Pawleys Island, SC, provides exceptional service. My mother, a resident, lost her mailbox key. As my mother had recently given up her car and was dealing with a health issue, Jamie took it upon herself to drive to the Post Office and manage the re-keying process. She turned a stressful situation for my mother into a non-issue. Her level of care and initiative for a resident is much appreciated, and I am impressed by her immediate response to my mom's issue.

The Members at The Lakes are by and large super couples and singles who have had big interesting lives all over the country and world, who have settled in to the easy life and are enjoying the free time and commaraderie.

My parents moved to The Lakes in January 2024 and it was the best decision they could have made. They enjoyed their cottage, their neighbors, the dining facilities and the activities and we enjoyed having them just down the road. When my mom needed rehab after a fall, it was so much easier for my dad because the rehab facility was just across the street. When my father died unexpectedly in June 2025, they helped us transition my mother into assisted living. The care she receives is wonderful and I sleep easier at night knowing that she is well taken care of. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and they have made a difficult time easier to navigate.

The Lakes at Litchfield is truly exceptional! All staff are caring, attentive, and treat residents and members like their own family. The community is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Activities are engaging, and the level of support and compassion is unmatched. My Parents moved to the Lakes at Litchfield cottages in 2020 from the Heritage. Immediately my mom got involved in activities at the Lakes unfortunately her health took a turn and she received excellent care in the Lakes Rehab and eventually entered Hospice. My Father became active in the Lakes community as well. Holding Car shows with his own vintage cars and getting friends to bring them in. He loved everyone at the Lakes Happy Hour and Restaurant. The Staff at the Lakes are Fantastic. Thanks for Caring for our Parents!!
