LAKEVIEW ASSISTED LIVING

I would highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone who needs a place of care for their loved one! The staff are amazing! They made my parents feel loved from the very beginning. The sense of compassion there was overwhelming. You can feel from the minute that you walk in the door that all of the residents are so safe and taken care of. There was never a doubt in my mind that I made the right decision when it came to my parents well being. It’s a tough decision for all of us when it comes to this point in our parents lives but thank God for the folks at Lakeview. They were an absolute Godsend. I’ll never be able to repay them for their kindness and care. They are absolute Angels!! Thank you guys, continue your good work!

If you are looking for a place to help your loved one, Lakeview Assisted Living is NOT the place. I DO NOT recommend it. The management and staff do not run the facility in a proper manner. Issues were numerous and were never resolved. I called to get an appointment to visit my loved one and was told the facility was closed and I asked if it was because of Covid and was told it was not. I contacted DHEC and was told it was. Covid restrictions were not followed. Facility is not clean and food is not sufficient. Witnessed staff being very rude to residents and their families on more than one occasion. I hope this helps in making a decision in regards to your loved one. I had no choice when it came to mine. If I had a choice I would not use this facility.

My father was a resident of Lakeview and I can say my only regret is that I did not move him there sooner. It is a wonderful facility where residents are treated with respect and like family. The amenities are extremely clean, attractive and the food is excellent home cooking which my father truly appreciated. I can't speak highly enough of the manager, Dawn and her staff. I am so grateful for all they did to make my Dad's last months so happy and pleasant. He was very happy at Lakeview. For those seeking quality care, trust me when I say, fancy facilities with fancy decor do not make up for poor care. If you want a clean, homey environment with quality care and food for your loved one, Lakeview is where you want them to be.

My mother was at Lakeview for 2 1/2 years and it was an absolute Godsend! The staff took excellent care of her and I was comforted in knowing she was being taken care of and safe, especially since she had severe dementia. I visited many times and unannounced... I was never disappointed in her care. She recently passed away while in Hospice care at the facility...since she considered that to be her home. The staff mourned along with her family. God bless those people.

This place discriminated against me because i have longer hair and had a small beard I found out through a friend who’s mom works at the facility. I found out that they also discriminated against someone else as well. Filed a complaint with DHEC and complained about the terrible 3rd shift nurse working 08/16/2018. Couldn’t be more disappointed in a facility and hope action is taken place against the crudeness of whoever it is discriminating in the facility. The lady working on this night told me I should not be calling with an issue like this at 1 am in the morning and hung up on me, I did not find out about this issue until this time of night and called immediately. Hopefully if nothing is done by the state you guys in upper management will find the root of the problem and fix it. Thanks,
