LAKEWOOD ALZHEIMERS SPECIAL CARE CENTER

The most incredible, wonderful staff at a memory care facility, LTC or SNF that I have ever seen. If I had dementia and had to leave home, this is where I would hope to be.

Lakewood Memory provides consistent and quality care to its residents. I feel assured knowing my grandma is safe in their care. The staff is very kind and knows every resident by name. They have started to recognize we are the family members visiting my grandmother and they give us helpful updates. Their events are unique, exciting, and interactive for the residents- I would be excited to go to any of the events they host! Lakewood is in an ideal location being right next to the fire department, and just down the road from a great Church. I highly recommend this locations for loved ones facing dementia.

I recently visited my mother who seems to be looking better and more positive! They take good care of my mother and she has a lot more people to interact with of her own age. I was given the option of staying for dinner and it was good. A big shout out to the staff for being so cheerful! Everyone there knows my mother's name in 3 days which is amazing to me!

Since I have moved my mom here in March, she seems happy. When I go there I know she is well taken care of. This was a difficult process for myself but now can be at peace with my decision. I love that all the staff work hard at planning activities and visitors to keep the residence busy. This is exactly what I was looking for in a place for my mom. It is also very nicely decorated which helps again to make it feel like home. I would highly recommend Lakewood to anyone who is looking for a memory care facility.

My spunky MIL has lived here for here for 9 months and it has been a wonderful experience for both her and our family! There a so many fun activities and delicious homecooked meals everyday. And the staff is genuinely caring toward each person who lives there. Whenever we have a question or concern, we get prompt attention. When we toured Lakewood they said they treat everyone like family and that their facility is the people's home; they weren't just saying that. You feel it everytime you visit. If you have a loved one in the midst of Alzheimer's or dementia, I would highly recommend you visit Lakewood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Brookfield - you won't be disappointed!
