I recently moved in to Lamar Court from a less than stellar skilled facility. To start, I’m a different level of resident due to my age(I’m quite a bit less than the median age), and my needs are obviously different than most. Before my move in, Lori and Donna did everything in their powers to make my experience smooth and comfortable, including exceeding my expectations at every chance possible. From the admissions process, through move in, through getting settled, all staff at this facility were warm, attentive to my questions and needs, and professional all the way around. After I moved I, Meg(h)an and Jennifer’s nursing staff were incredibly warm, compassionate and understanding of my needs and concerns regarding my nursing needs. The food absolutely blew me away, as items are fresh, made to order and nutritious. Maintenance came to my room multiple times to make sure my move in was what I wanted it to be, and to check to make sure I didn’t need any additional assistance. I spent three years in a skilled facility that couldn’t hold a candle to this facility. I’m so utterly thrilled that I choose Lamar Court and recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.
