Can't express how much my family is grateful to Land of Peace. My dad was transferred here from a nursing home after a car accident which worsened his already existing condition of dementia, stage 4 cancer, leaving him bedbound. The genuine care, attention to details and love from the owners and caregivers shown to my father brought us immense relief, knowing he was in good hands when we couldn't be there. Every visit felt like coming to a family home, not just a facility. Thank you so much for everything!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place than Land of Peace for my grandmother’s stay. From the moment she arrived, the staff welcomed her with genuine warmth, treating her like family. The environment is exactly what the name promises — peaceful, nurturing, and filled with kindness. Every detail, from the cozy rooms to the beautiful gardens, seemed thoughtfully designed to bring comfort and serenity. My grandmother constantly tells us how cared for and respected she feels. The caregivers are attentive, patient, and incredibly compassionate — it’s clear they go above and beyond every day. She has made new friends, enjoys the daily activities, and often tells us how much she loves the meals and the quiet moments she spends in the sunshine. Most importantly, we’ve seen her smile more and regain a sense of calm and happiness that means the world to us. Land of Peace has truly been a blessing for our family. Knowing she is safe, loved, and thriving gives us peace of mind we didn’t think was possible. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a place where their loved one will be honored, cherished, and genuinely happy.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Land of Peace for the compassionate care and dignity they provided to my late grandfather. During such a difficult time, their professionalism and heartfelt support brought comfort to our entire family. It meant the world to us to know that he was looked after with respect, kindness, and peace in his final moments. Thank you for treating him—and us—with such grace. We are forever grateful.

Land of Peace is truly just that for my Mom. Peace due to an amazing owner (Sona) and nurse (Roselin) who are experienced, always available, knowledgeable, and kind. Their office is onsite which makes it easy to pop in and ask a question. They are available via text or email 24/7 - very responsive. They always have good suggestions for navigating situations that come up with my 91 year old mom who has developed severe dementia. Sona was instrumental in making the move in for my mom smooth including setting up her room customized for her needs and her personal decor items and navigating all the paperwork. Peace due to the amazing caregivers who are genuinely kind and passionate about caring for the elderly. They are wonderful with mom and greet me when I visit with welcoming smiles. Many of the caregivers and are from Africa and their English is excellent and easy to understand. I see these caregivers spending time just sitting, talking to, and patiently caring for my Mom and the other residents. Peace for me because of the team approach taken between administrators and the caregivers. Again excellent communication between the team to ensure mom gets the absolute best care. For example, my mom suffers from skin conditions and wounds requiring constant dressings and lotions. These lotions have had to change but I’ve never had to worry that each of the caregivers is aware of the changes. Currently my mom’s skin conditions and wounds are under control and I’m certain it has to do with the consistency of care which starts with Sona and her excellent communication with her team of caregivers. Peace because there is ample staff as there are several Land of Peace residences nearby and extra staff can be summoned quickly if the need arises. My mom refuses care from males so it’s important that should the need arise, there is always female caregivers available from one of the 6 Land of Peace homes within the block. Peace due to the excellent nutritional food they cater in daily. It’s so good that the caregivers are not responsible for managing groceries and cooking lunch and dinner as it gives them more time focus on the residents. If needed the menu is customized for individual dietary needs of the residents. Peace because of their very precise medication management which is complex in my mom’s situation but when I wonder about things they have excellent records to show me what she has taken and when. I used to worry about it because of issues we had with a previous home but there’s no need to worry with Land of Peace. Peace because the homes are spotlessly clean and smell fresh. The way that the Land of Peace homes have been remodeled specifically for board and care is impressive. Bigger bathrooms, wider hallways, very open/bright and large gathering areas to relax, watch TV and share meals. I do have experience with Mom in other board and care homes and I can say with conviction that Land of Peace is above and beyond any facilities available.

I’ve referred many families to Sona at Land of Peace. Without exception they’ve all been pleased with the care, professionalism and attention to detail they’ve experienced. Happy to send residents to them… I wouldn’t hesitate to send my own family to them.
