LANTERN OF CHAGRIN VALLEY

We moved my mom into Meadow Falls last September and we couldn't be happier. From Nicole, Carrie and the entire team they have been great. My mom has always been treated with dignity and care. I'm out of state but my dad is there everyday and we have always been happy. Of course there's things at times that could be a little different but all I have to do is ask. They always listen, and correct it if needed. From the therapy to the staff, my mom from what I observe, all the residents are treated like they're at home. The location is clean and well maintained. I see safety is followed and from all the facilities I looked at before, my mom has her own place and it is well maintained and kept up. She has her own place, not just a room with a bed and chair, but it's like a small home. We are able to bring in items from home to make her feel comfortable. The food is very good and the service they serve it is like a good restaurant. The therapist keep me updated and when I am there, they take the time to see me. I thank God for Meadow Falls and the team there. I can sleep at night knowing my mom is in great hands and being treated with love and care.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! We moved my aunt in after a tour that seemed like it went well. The little houses seemed like an interesting and unique design. We very quickly saw how much was wrong with this place. On move in day one of the on-staff care givers got in to an argument with another one while my aunt was sitting on the toilet. They lost her on about the fourth day there. The floors are so dirty that your feet stick. The caregivers speak poorly about the residents in front of them, saying they won't remember it in a few minutes anyway so who cares. The lack of care was so bad we moved her out in 13 days. I can't stress enough that the care here is concerning and after doing more research there are much better options. Also, the recent 5 star review is the same last name as the woman who runs this place so it's a fake review. 11/10/25 - IN RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE FROM MEADOW FALLS: I find it ironic that in your response to my review, you said you welcome the chance to discuss what went wrong. The day I showed up and moved my aunt out without notice, you had the chance to have that exact conversation with me in your office when I returned to let you know she would not be coming back. Instead, you took the opportunity to reprimand me about what I did wrong in the process of getting her out of there. I took the time to write the original review and this response to your response because it is that important that people know how you treat your residents. The only reason I showed up to move my aunt without notice is all I could think about was, if your staff treats her like that in front of me, what are they doing when I'm not there. I will always be proud that I made that decision swiftly to get my aunt out of your care.

My grandma is living her best life here! The staff is exceptional and treat her like family. They are always available to answer any question or concerns and in the rare event they are not, they call me back the same day. It’s comforting knowing she is someplace she is well cared for. It’s also adorable on the inside!
