My aunt is here for rehabilitation,the response times for care are terrible. I have not seen a response time under 10 minutes. Just now my Aunt was left on the toilet to the point her legs were hurting. We have family here as much as we can until she goes home. The staff is fine and friendly. My concern is how often my aunt is left without a response to care. She has made it clear that at night the call light was on for hrs without a response and from what I have seen during the day I would never trust a loved 1 here alone.

These hardworking individuals — whether in the kitchen, activities, aides, housekeeping, maintenance, CNAs, RNs, med passers, or even the director — put their absolute all into their time here. They come in on their days off, work extra-long hours, and do everything possible to make sure every resident, as well as their fellow staff members, are okay. Everyone is so kind and courteous. The dogs inside brought me so much joy. I know the needs here are met — from stimulation and hygiene to nutrition, cognitive care, privacy, and always an open ear. Everyone has someone they can talk to, and every staff member is a favorite of someone. This isn’t just a workplace; it’s a community of people who truly care. It’s clear that the residents are respected, valued, and loved. It’s rare to find a place with so much dedication, heart, and teamwork. Staff definitely deserves more.

My grandmother has lived at this facility for 3 years now. We just celebrated her 101st birthday there. The staff employed there is competent, and many of them take time to talk with her and see to her needs. The food is decent, and she can order from a menu of a few items if she doesn't like what's being served. She has a large window in her room overlooking a grassy area, but the backyard really makes this nursing home remarkable. She has access to a paved sidewalk and can use her hoveround to go outside every day the weather permits, which is huge for her, as she's always loved to be outside. There's a garden, a patio with lawn chairs for visitors to sit on, and trees for shade. There is an additional courtyard within the building where attendants grow veggies and flowers for residents to enjoy. They do activities such as having a petting zoo, outdoor craft fair, Elvis impersonator, Bingo, and music. They have an extra room to use if it's rainy so visitors can sit in a "living room" type environment. Overall, if a person needs to be in a facility, this place is a good one!

I became a volunteer Guardian for a lady that resides at Geneva Lake Manor. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with warm professionalism from the staff and management. I couldn't be more grateful for the care they provide for her. She is always neat and clean and very happy! She loves to play cards and the staff always takes the time to play her favorite games. Communication is excellent, the staff calls me with any updates or concerns and that gives me great peace of mind. Thank you to all for your care and compassion, you are truly appreciated!
