Lauren’s Greenhouse is truly a gem in adult foster care. From the moment you walk through the door, you can feel the warmth, compassion, and dedication that make this home so special. The caregivers are exceptional—attentive, patient, and genuinely devoted to each resident’s well-being. They take the time to get to know each person as an individual, ensuring care is both personal and dignified. Communication with families is outstanding. Updates are timely, thoughtful, and reassuring, creating a strong sense of trust. Questions are always welcomed and answered with kindness and clarity. The owner, Debbie, is incredibly hands-on and deeply invested in the daily life of the home. You can see her passion in every detail—from the cheerful, comfortable environment to the high standard of care provided. Lauren’s Greenhouse isn’t just a place to live—it’s a home where residents feel safe, valued, and loved. It’s everything you could hope for in a home for your loved one.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lauren‘s greenhouse… The staff is very compassionate Debbie the owner is knowledgeable and great. They take very good care of their clients. They treat them like family… very homey atmosphere…including an screened in porch with a great garden view.My father-in-law Paul (92 years old) was here for 3 1/2 months on hospice … We couldn’t have asked for a better home for him in his end of days. I would highly recommend this for your loved ones whether they’re needs here are brief or hospice or for a new home because they have Alzheimer’s or whatever… They are equipped for all types of clients. We were very blessed to have found this lovely home for our loved ones whether they’re… you won’t be disappointed.

How blessed we are to have found this place. Our father had advanced Alzheimer’s. Been here for 3 months. The care they gave him was incredible. Compassionate and attentive. Staff member Sarah treats all the residents as family. She is truly a remarkable woman. Debi and Brian make you feel welcome and comfortable . The home has a “home” vibe, not a facility or complex. How fortunate we were to have Dad taken care of by these great people. I can only hope to never be in a position as my dad, but if so this is the place I would want to care for me.

From the first moment we stepped into Lauren’s Greenhouse, it felt like home. The owner (Debbie) was a joy to work with and made it.clear, this is “home”. Her staff is above reproach. Kind, careful and professional. Again after a very short period we felt like family.

Family owned by Debbie, and she is basically there every single day making sure the residents are taken care of, and working with the staff. Staff, specially Sarah (with 20+ years of experience) are very attentive and respectful. They take care of everything, and do not need supervision. Personally, for us, they normally have 6 residents at most, and this was very important to us. Other commercially owned places have 50 to 100 residents, with little staff, or staff who don’t care. My mom was in once place, where she hit the call button (I was there) and an hour later, still no one showed up. I had to track someone down - that was terrible. This would never happen at Debbie’s place or Lauren’s Greenhouse. As for activities, the staff did keep the residents busy and active. They do have a nice outdoors area. I know some people will indicate that smaller places have less activity; however, the larger place we were previously at had the same activity each week, and many times, they were cancelled as no one showed up. My mom was disappointed in the larger places activities, as I was also (I went to a couple of them). As for food, my mom never had an issue with the food at Lauren’s Greenhouse. Since only a few residents, they could be flexible, versus the larger places have to have simple meals for 50+ people. Another important aspect for us, was it is a house, and it feels like a home, versus a hospital or sterile apartment building. Good luck with your decision, but myself and my siblings were very fortunate to have our mom at Lauren’s Greenhouse.
