LEGACY RIDGE AT MARIETTA

The Activities Director, Devon, does a great job. She decorates month-to-month by using a theme. Last year was 12 different countries for an “around the world theme” that included coordinating with the kitchen staff. This year is “through the decades” and she’s doing a great job. Most recently she planned a great Mardi Gras event with music, a Cajun meal, and festive decorations. Devon goes out of her way to include our mother and we are very grateful for that. Attentive service for medication, care, and catering. Unfortunately there are some repairs in our mother’s room that need to be addressed before I can give this facility 5 stars.

Legacy Ridge Marietta is a wonderful place for seniors. Everybody there is so caring and so helpful to the residents. Devon Gunn, the activities coordinator, is especially fantastic. She loves the residents so much and it shows every day with the way she talks to them and treats them. I would highly recommend Legacy Ridge Marietta for your loved ones.

Devon Gunn is the most amazing Lifestyle Director I have had the pleasure to interact with. She constantly thinks outside the box to keep the residents engaged and their brains stimulated! She knows all the residents and immediately notices if they are off and directs it to the appropriate person. My Mom loves doing activities with Devon. She also exhibits strong leadership skills with grace and confidence. She is truly the biggest asset for Legacy!

I have been pleased with my mother’s experience at Legacy Ridge. When I visited, each and every staff member greeted me with a smile and was so friendly. They knew my mom well, too. Being from many states away, it left me feeling so comforted that she is well cared for by kind, caring people. I especially want to recognize Devon, the Activities Director. Devon not only provides programs that are engaging but goes out of her way to support and include my mom. She communicates frequently with myself and our entire family, often sharing pictures of our mom enjoying her programs. Devon has taken the time to make a special connection with my mom and she is so greatly appreciated by my mom and our entire family. Thank you, Devon!

Devon, the Lifestyles Director is awesome! It is comforting to know that my dad is cared about! He participates in fun activities and my family and I are able to see him smile through photos of the activities. My dad was apprehensive about living away from home, but he has come to settle in quite nicely. I attribute this to Legacy Ridge’s nice atmosphere, particularly Miss Devon’s genuine care for the residents there. My dad actually refers to her as his niece, definitely a sign that he feels safe and seen. Thank you Legacy Ridge AND Thank you Devon! You are a Godsend!
