Our family has had an incredibly positive experience with Legato living at Indian hills memory care. From the very first visit, we felt a sense of comfort and reassurance knowing that our loved one would be in compassionate, capable hands. The team at Legato consistently demonstrates patience, kindness, and a deep understanding of memory care needs. The caregivers take the time to learn each resident’s personality, routines, and preferences, which makes a huge difference in their daily comfort and quality of life. They create a calm, structured, and welcoming environment where residents feel safe and supported. We especially appreciate the engaging activities they offer, which help maintain connection, dignity, and joy. The communication with families has been excellent—thoughtful updates, quick responses to questions, and a genuine willingness to involve us in care decisions. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and designed in a way that helps residents feel at ease. Entrusting a loved one to memory care is never an easy decision, but Legato has given us confidence and peace of mind every step of the way. We are truly grateful for the exceptional care they provide. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a compassionate and attentive memory care community.

Amazing! Legato Living at Indian Hills is so pleasantly different than any other assisted living/dementia care residence I have seen. Symidahl and her staff are so available, flexible, and welcoming and have made my husband and our family and friends feel right at home since his move there 6 months ago. He describes the meals as “really good” and has gained 10+ pounds. Symidahl, Sabrina and all the caregivers are fabulous, friendly, so caring, very attentive and accommodating, and know exactly how to communicate to the residents. From holiday and birthday “parties” with all the decorations to “intimate” football and volleyball gatherings, they add the “fun” that is often missing in other environments. Having moved from an uncomfortable situation in a large facility, the people and surroundings make all the difference. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in this journey. Just ask me!

I'm so incredibly happy that my father is here at Legato Living at Indian Hills. Symidahl and the staff here are amazing, and to see the improvement in my father's mood and general well-being was the biggest joy since this whole journey started. It's a quiet, intimate setting that is essentially just a house, more specifically a home, and it feels that way for my dad. He gets three home-cooked meals a day and can choose to snack and eat what he wants if available. They've gone above and beyond to accommodate his tastes and style, and everyone there works wonderfully with him. Watching my father go through Alzheimer's with Dementia has probably been the hardest thing I've experienced in my life, and to see him finally finding a 'groove', a daily routine that feels kind, warm, active, and loving makes all the difference in the world. This is the level of care that everyone deserves, and it's so so so wonderful to see my father thriving here. I cannot recommend it enough!

To say that Symidahl (affectionately known to us as Symi) and the wonderful staff here changed my family's life for the better is an understatement! My dad has been living at LL-IH for two months now and has improved in every way possible since moving from a large, impersonal memory care center to this amazing residential living situation. A spacious, but homey, beautifully decorated (and so clean!) HOME, staffed with professional, knowledgeable caregivers and nurses who care so much about the residents here—is EXACTLY what we were hoping to find!
