We were looking for a place that felt like a real home for my mom — not just a facility that checks boxes. After visiting a few options, this one stood out because of how down-to-earth and straightforward everything was. No scripted sales talk, no over-the-top promises — just people who seemed to genuinely care. My mom has always been independent and private, so we were expecting a tough adjustment. But to our surprise, she settled in more easily than we imagined. The staff didn’t rush her or force a routine — they learned how she likes things and gave her space to feel comfortable. When I visited a few days after she moved in, she was already having tea and laughing with one of the caregivers. That moment meant everything. Her room is always clean, her laundry is neatly done, and her medications are handled without issue — these might sound like basic expectations, but they’re not something you can take for granted. The team pays attention to small details, like making sure her favorite shawl is within reach, or that she has warm water at night without needing to ask. There have been a few little things along the way, but nothing major — and what matters most is that they listen when I bring something up. They don’t brush it off. They take it seriously and actually follow up, which is more than I can say about some other places we visited. They also keep me in the loop, which I really appreciate. I don’t have to constantly check in or chase down answers — if something changes, they call. I feel like a partner in her care, not just an outsider. The best part? My mom feels at ease. She’s not just being looked after — she’s being cared for, with kindness and consistency. That’s what gives me peace of mind.

I was so disappointed with the care this home provided for my family member. Noisy, staff yelling to and at each other all of the time. Only provided one sheet on the bed that was laid over thick plastic mattress cover. The sheet wasn't fitted so it constantly bunched on the mattress and the resident would "stick" to the bed. No top sheet or blanket, just a thin Walmart throw. Food was terrible (cold spaghetti with chopped up hot dog, for instance). My loved lost almost 10lbs over 3 weeks. They only serve water with meals except for coffee in the am. Feces left in a bedside commode beside the bed for 2 days. The manager made the excuse that the staff didn't know how to remove the bucket from the bedside commode. My brother was feeling sick and felt as if his blood sugar was low. The staff couldn't find his glucometer that I had ordered and had delivered, then accused me of not sending it. His blood sugar WAS low and it took them an HOUR to bring him juice. Staff didn't demonstrate that they had received even an iota of training. I requested a copy of our signed agreement with the home twice....never got it. The smoke detector in my brother's room chirped for over24 hours before the batteries were exchanged. Manager kept making the excuse that they were short-staffed (they lost 2 staff members in 3 weeks). My brother wasn't receiving his meds correctly and his 90 day supply of eye drops was used up in 3 weeks. This is not the complete list of concerns about the poor care provided in this home. If you looking for a home for a loved one, take the time to do your research and get referrals from residents or family members of residents. This was a horrible experience.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful care this facility provided to my father. I just wish I would of found them sooner. My dads final days were amazing. The caregivers are wonderful. Attentive and caring. The owners are present and sincere.they welcomed me and my entire family in to sat our final good byes. The home is clean and welcoming. They make home cooked meals and the other residents are very happy. If they have an opening grab it it's the best group home I've ever been in and I'm hospice RN I have seen a lot
