My Nanny lived in this community, during the final stage of her life. As her health declined, after a broken hip, and repeated falls. Our families raised concerns and requested Hospice care. The director, Susanne, strongly encouraged PT and OT instead, despite continued decline and lack of improvement. Hospice involvement was delayed, and during that time my Grandmother suffered significantly. After she sustained a serious injury, we were told from Susanne, she was no longer able to return. Although the contract stated the facility would assist with referrals to alternative placement, no such assistance was offered Assisted living is private pay, and I understand facilities have limits. However, families should be aware of how end-of-life decisions, safety concerns, and transitions are handled here. I strongly encourage anyone considering this community to ask very direct questions about hospice, decline, and discharge procedures before moving in.

After looking at many places in Lexington, we chose Liberty Ridge for Mom because it seemed more like home and less like a “facility”. There has not been one day that we’ve regretted our choice! She was in assisted living and now in memory care. The level of care and the compassion and love from the staff is second to none. They are family to her (and us as well). It it clean, well run and the food is good! So grateful that she can be in a safe and loving environment!

We toured Liberty Ridge at the request of a family member who was interested in living there. The admission director was incredibly polite, kind, knowledgeable and transparent. Unfortunately, our family member did not qualify for the level of care they offer. We did find the facility to be clean, clients seemed to be well-taken care of, and many activities were offered. Would highly recommend you look at this facility when searching for care of family member

Liberty Ridge Senior Living Community has been a wonderful experience for our parent and our family. The compassionate and dedicated staff, along with the beautiful grounds have made our parent feel so welcome. We evaluated several facilities and Liberty Ridge was the best option - we liked the faith-based, independent status - not a corporate facility. Their staff retention was important - we think our parent needs to see familiar faces each day. And the food is great!

Choosing a new living situation for a loved one is never easy. Change is hard for everyone. Liberty Ridge was the right choice for my mom. The building is beautiful, it is always decorated nicely for holidays. It is always clean. There are always a variety of foods to chose from for meals and the food is quite good! There are activities for all residents if they choose to participate. The staff is attentive and caring. They always had time for my mom and she was very happy during her stay here. I would highly recommend Liberty Ridge.
