A year ago I had the need to move my sister into an Assisted Living Facility. We were told of the great care and the number one rating of Library Terrace so we got her moved in last July. This was the best move I could have done with my sister. The move was so smooth and the fact that I live in another state and could not be there dealing with Nancy made the process seamless. Since being there the staff has been amazing. Staying in contact with me every step of the way. Ashley is one amazing nurse and sees to it that my sister is taken care of in every way possible. I thank God everyday for the great care she is receiving there and even though I am hundreds of miles away I know she is in the best hands. Thank you all at Library Terrace for all you do for my sister and all the other residents. You are the best! Darlene Phillips

We moved my dad to Library Terrace last December. My mother and him had been living independently in a condo until my mother passed away. My dad is 101 and just could not safely live alone. He was nervous about the move, but it was such a great decision. He tells me almost every time I visit him how glad he is he moved. He has a comfortable 1-bedroom apartment. He enjoys going to the dinning room for his lunch and supper and tells me he gives most meals an “A” with an occasional “B”. He hits a nice balance between participating in activities and spending time in his apartment. I can’t say enough about the staff. They respond to emails quickly and are always happy to help with any questions or requests. The staff is kind and patient. It is wonderful knowing my dad is in such capable/ caring hands.

My dad was a resident at Library Terrace Suites from July 2021 until he passed away in January 2024. From the moment he moved in, I knew he was in a place where he wasn’t just cared for—he was truly cherished. The staff didn’t just do their jobs; they created an environment where he felt at home, respected, and surrounded by people who truly cared about him. Library Terrace Suites is a small, intimate community with only about 20 rooms, which allowed the residents to truly get to know one another. That sense of familiarity and connection made a world of difference. My dad wasn’t one for playing games, but he ended up enjoying many of the activities they offered. He especially loved sitting outside on the porch, where they grew vegetables and flowers—something that meant a lot to him, having owned a garden center. The staff went above and beyond—not just for my dad, but for our entire family. I never once worried about whether he was being taken care of, and that peace of mind is invaluable. They kept me informed about any health concerns and were always available when I needed to talk. The nurse there was absolutely amazing. She treated my dad with such kindness and respect, as if he were her own father. That level of care and compassion meant everything to us. When my dad transitioned to hospice care, the staff's support was incredible. They treated us like family. When I arrived, they had snacks ready for us. One aide even brought me Starbucks the next morning—something so small, yet so deeply thoughtful. They made sure we had a space to sleep, both in his room and in the visiting area, so we never had to leave his side. I cannot say enough good things about Library Terrace Suites. The warmth, compassion, and dedication of the staff made all the difference during a difficult time. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be truly cared for, I wholeheartedly recommend Library Terrace Suites.

I have had a loved one at Library Terrace Suites for almost a year now. It was a scary transition that was made so much easier by the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The facility is wonderful, however the people that care for him are straight from Heaven. This accolade includes the administrative staff, the dietary department and the special maintenance guy as well. Each and every one of them goes above and beyond to care for this special man. The caring nursing staff and our life enrichment friends have become family to not only him but to me as well. I highly recommend Library Terrace to anyone looking for this type of living facility. Five stars just doesn’t seem like enough.. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

My mom recently moved into Library Terrace Apartments and is very happy and feels at home. She previously lived at larger assisted living facility in Kenosha, however we found that she was not receiving the quality of care and attention that she needed due to care staff turnover and under-staffing on the weekends. We met with Kim and Sara at Library Terrace Apartments and knew we had found the right home for Mom. The staff truly cares about their residents and encourages them to remain as independent as possible. Mom likes to do her own laundry and is encouraged to use the washer and dryer when available. Library Terrace Apartments offers high quality meals with a wide variety of menu items. There are interesting activities offered throughout the week that residents can choose to participate in. Mom's favorite activity is Bingo and was pleased to learn it's offered twice a week! Mom's studio apartment is spacious with a large window, two fully closets and large cabinets in the bathroom. There are safety bars located in several places in the bathroom. Kim, the executive director and Sara, the lead nursing staff, are quick to respond to my emails or calls. If Mom needs a change in medicines, they communicate the orders to the pharmacy in a timely manner. I now have peace of mind that Mom is being cared for and has a healthy and positive living environment with consistent staffing. I highly recommend Library Terrace Apartments.
