LIFE CARE SENIOR MANOR

When I was first looking at Assisted Living facilities for my sister, I immediately sensed a special vibe from Brookdale Garden Grove. Now that she has been living there for more than a year -- first in Assisted Living and now in Memory Care -- I am pleased to say that Brookdale has not disappointed. There is an overall feeling of community and caring for one another that I believe is unique to Brookdale Garden Grove. The care staff is so dedicated and hard-working. Management is responsive and supportive. Everyone -- from the front desk, to maintenance, to meal service, to Executive Director -- knows every resident and their specific needs. It is obvious that they all truly care about the residents, and that is the greatest comfort of all. With a few improvements and some upgrades (already discussed with management), rating might very well be five stars next time.

Ever since my dad moved to Brookdale Garden Grove, I can rest easily knowing that he is safe and well taken care of. The memory care team genuinely cares about their residents and every time I visit the facility is clean, well staffed and the residents seem happy. Also, the food is great.

I have been happy with the care & concern that the staff have shown for my family member in the two years at this facility. I have been contacted immediately when the staff have noticed health changes & we have addressed these concerns with the medical team. I feel safe that my family member is observed daily, is known by all staff & that the medications are monitored by the medical team.

I cannot possibly say enough positive words about our experience in selecting Brookdale Garden Grove for our mom! Literally, from the minute we entered for a tour, everyone was friendly, supportive, and helpful. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel at ease, and we could not have asked for a more thorough and thoughtful presentation about the facility and what it offered. We had a wonderful experience and we knew by the time the tour had completed that we had found an excellent place for our mom.

My mother passed away and we had to find a place for dad. He was feeling very alone and my husband and I work all day (not able to have him at home due to his need for bathroom help). We took a quick tour and deeply enjoyed our experience. The food was fantastic, the residents were extremely sweet, and the community just looks like a little oasis. Pop has called Garden Grove home for a few months now and we're so happy. Mary keeps us updated with photos and it's extremely affordable for what the rest of OC charges. Highly recommend this place.
