Staff is always kind and attentive

Resident rooms are very small and gloomy. It isn't pretty. It is older.

Awful management and the entire facility has bugs!!!

My mother moved there 4 months ago from another local assisted living facility.. the most expensive one in the county. She lived there 5 years and says she wishes she'd moved the The Lodge sooner.. at least a YEAR sooner. That was when the new owners took over at that facility and it went downhill in the worst ways FAST. We want her to be happy and treated with respect and that is exactly the way it is now. It's more like a family than living in a "home". Smaller and older building, but clean. I wish the end she is in would be updated and brightened up like the other end- its very drab on her end and a better vanity with drawers would help immensely... but that is esthetics, comfort and ease of use- her care is the priority. She's mostly satisfied-so- so far, so good.
