Every experience here with my aunt is horrible they refuse to feed her move her and do there hourly checks the staff is lazy unprofessional and not reliable for taking care of these senior citizens. They basically leave these senior citizens to die no activity’s fun things spending time with them nothing they are left here to rot away and die . This is not how someone should spend there final days I highly recommend you all to not use this facility until they Improve on staff

I have come to utilize Google reviews more and more as another tool to research a product or service. Usually, I only write positive reviews, so it is with heavy heart I have to write a negative one. There is good, bad, and ugly at Linden Court New Berlin. With my loved one spending a year there, my family and I have the experience, documentation, and inside info to write a book. I'll spare you though. The building is beautiful, and the corporate staff are pleasant and easy to work with. There are a handful of caregivers that are outstanding. The rest are NOT. This is the most important aspect of any assisted living. I write this with no malice or ill will and hope changes can be made but they sure didn't listen to me.

The facility promises a low sodium diet, however, the staff repeatedly served potato chips, salted popcorn and other foods that should not be part of a low sodium diet. This caused water retention, severe swelling and weeping water through a sore on my grandmother’s leg. The cardiologist gave verbal orders to adjust her water pill but did not believe she needed to go to the hospital. However, the Director of nursing insisted she been sent to the hospital with the full plan to not allow my grandmother to return. They said she requires too much nursing care because she needed big band-aids changed on her weeping legs caused by the facility’s inability to maintain my grandmother’s low sodium diet. The hospital found no medical emergency and discharged her back to the facility where we found out she was removed from the computer and the a note left that my grandmother was not to return….to her home….without proper 30 days notice. After the staff calling several levels of management they eventually let her back in “for the weekend.” Absolutely revolting how they are treating a 96 year old woman.

Ever since we moved Mom into Linden Court we have requested that they do more activities with the residents there. We have given the administrator a copy of the activities that are run in another facility to show them the difference. All that seems to happen at Linden Court are the same old activities on a part time basis leaving the residents bored and disgusted. There are no exercises either yet another huge mistake. At night all the caregivers do is sit in front of the TV and sometimes during the day as well. Pretty sad considering the price they charge to live there. They should have a full time activity person and also on the weekends because not all the residents have family to come and visit them. Time to wake up Linden Court!!
