My daughter was there, most staff were great! Melissa was rude and not helpful at all for the position she has! Definitely needs communication skills, to communicate with staff, families and residents After I’d left a message regarding a blister on my daughters toe on Wednesday just asking them to observe, she calls me at 9:30 on Saturday night, and goes on to boast about being in another state opening a new facility, she sounded intoxicated and was very unprofessional!! My daughter was discharged which I’d like to thank Melissa for because it finally got the system working for my daughter. She was diagnosed w early onset dementia this year, so answers a lot of questions regarding her behavior, if they specifically work with dementia patients shouldn’t they have recognized signs?!? My daughter’s roommate slept for days without getting up and they let her, she would try n get her up to eat, please don’t send someone you love there

I'm an NEMT and I picked up a resident today and took them to Summit House for a few hours. I had the pleasure of meeting the new administrator, , whom was very nice. I have worked in facilities as an RMA, and I'm sure she is quite overwhelmed at the moment. I think she is gonna do just fine once she gets settled. Keep your head up girl, and don't forget our business card. God bless everyone!

Upside: looks nicer and cleaner then past owners that been over building. Truth is its not owners fault its there 2cond. Administration. Cough!! . better set up with lock down side. Some employees are wonderful and so there jobs right. Down side: administration not well enough where of how to running company like that cause worried about money etc . always running everything for staff and residents. Employee child play going on. Leaving when not supposed to. Etc. List probably goes on. Over all ID never put my family in a facility anyways. Cause i can't stand it, these resident and familys pay for them to be comfortable and live like being home. Not hog in mud pit. New owner seem like she is trying but she has no clue what's going on in that building. And wont believe anyone neither. So I guess that's just as bad.

The road was excavated in August by a local professional. The grade of the drive is not as steep and does not have "trenches" from the rain. It now has a gradual sloping and is well maintained for visitors and vendors.

Forest service roads are kept in better shape than the lane into this nursing home
