As a family member of a resident of Avita Brunswick for several years, the staff were compassionate and lovely to work with. They showed great care for my family member and guided our family through difficult transitions. It is clear that they take great pride in providing a caring and joyful experience for their residents.

While my wife's death was an unanticipated surprise to us, we felt good about the last months of her life. She was very comfortable as a resident of Avita, She received huge quantities of love and support from your incredible staff which has a way of making every day feel like the best day, and making every resident feel safe, catered to, and loved. We all should be so lucky to live in such an . environment. You should be very proud of the staff you have assembled as everyone is upbeat and positive, and sees only the best in others. After my visits, I always left the building feeling uplifted and good, often with a smile on my face. It is not often that one spends time in an environment where serious illness is evident and where it is so purposely, thoughtfully, and effectively ignored. The emphasis is on living and recognizing the dignity of the individual. Everyone receives this treatment: residents, resident's families, and staff members. Ten months later, I still attend support sessions as a receiver and giver.

My mother has been at Avita of Brunswick for five months now. Before her move, my sister and I were in a constant state of stress, anxiety and fear for our mother's health and safety because she had lost the ability to successfully complete activities of daily living and we couldn't provide around the clock in-home care. The programming and engagement are spectacular- from arts to tai chi- and she has expressed feeling like she has purpose at Avita, something she'd long lacked in her home alone. She always has glowing remarks about the entire staff- their level of care, respect, professionalism. This is an incredibly difficult transition, and disease, and I am relieved and eternally grateful to have found the community and support at Avita.

When my Mother stopped driving and having significant and dangerous memory lapses we both agreed to look for a home that would not only assist with daily care but provide activities and a safe, constructive social environment. I believe we found the perfect home for her at Brunswick Avita. They always seem to be fully staffed with caring, attentive and knowledgeable team members. We found the perfect place! My mother is thriving at Avita, she immediately made friends, participates in all the activities and is so happy.
