Toured this community and really thought it was very nice. So beautiful and caring staff. Residents seem happy, which is most important.

As a third party provider - this facility is a dream to work with. Their care for the residents is unmatched. They make our lives easier! It is ran and managed so well. Staff is so kind and professional. Not to mention the fact that the facility is BEAUTIFUL!

Let me begin by saying that Longleaf Assisted Living has been a LIFE SAVER for me and my family. They took my brother under their wing, when we were faced with very few opportunities for him. They looked at our unique situation and saw his residency as a challenge they wanted to conquer. They not only wanted him to be content, but be HAPPY. I cannot believe the transformation I have seen in my brother since moving there. Between their care, and the support of Life Care Solutions, my family has been truly blessed. I can’t say enough good things about the Director, Matt Nicosia, who is compassionate, energetic and definitely an “out of the box” thinker. I’ve dealt with many health care facilities over the years, and I have never seen anyone more enthusiastic about making their residents at home.

The only reason this facility is getting 2 stars is because of the pretty building and the wonderful Concierges. Problems with Longleaf Liberty Park... Breach of /Agreement/Contract, Damages to personal property, retaliation, mismanaged meds on 2 occassions that I'm aware of and promises not kept. I moved my mother out of this facility and paid rent to fulfill the 30 day agreement. I specifically told them my plans and not to do anything with the remaining personal items before the agreement date ended as it would take me some time to move her. Well, the staff didn't get wind of that and damages occurred and I was not compensated because Matt devalued my mother's belongings. The time together that my mom and I spent buying decorations and decorating her Christmas tree is sad for me. My mother loved that tree. I was asked the value and it was not accepted by Matt. I guess he knows best. So here I am today with NOTHING. No tree, sadness and no money to replace it. When filing complaints, the staff involved totally changed. It was very obvious. On at least two occassions I went into my mother's room for a visit and her medication was sitting on the kitchen table. That is not how medication management should work. I was told by Crystal, med tech, that she was in the bathroom at time the medicine came and she left on the table. Simple promises made as to what my mother needed when she was there and nope, couldn't get those simple tasks done. Making her bed in the mornings for specific reasons and making sure she got assistance with showering. Approximately three weeks without a shower is NOT acceptable. All I ever heard is "We can't force her". I was told prior to movein this would not be a problem as they were used to that. The delivery of her meals and months of me requesting them to stop that because there is a charge for that. I paid most of the fees and refused to pay the remainder. The staff would offer and of course, she accepted. Sometimes the food just showed up and so did the charge. One thing I did take from this place was a binder full of excuses from Matt, the Executive Director. Doumentation and pictures if the owner of this facility would like to see. For top dollar you would expect better.

A beautiful place & wonderful tour. It's the type of place I would love to live in my later years. It's full if natural light inside, and has plenty of outside spaces.
