My mother moved in July 2025 and her quality of life has been restored thanks to the great staff at Lorien. From the move- in process, to proper meds scheduling, dining services, activities, housekeeping, daily caregiving and nursing, we have been very happy with everyone at Lorien. My mother is much happier with the personal touch they provide to her and the friendly faces.

I can’t say enough about the staff and the facility. Dad was there initially on rehab after a hip fracture replacement. The rehab team was great and he was making progress but his other medical conditions warranted a transfer to the hospital. After a month it was decided he needed to have hospice care and he wanted to go back to Lorien. It was anticipated it would be a matter of days but he actually remained there for almost 3 months until he passed. There are not words to express how much the staff delivered compassionate, excellent care. This caring was not only from the ones delivering direct care - it was everyone from the person at the front desk, to the activities staff who made a point to include him even those he was confined to bed, to the daily environmental staff. They coordinated seamlessly with the Hospice staff to make sure dad was as comfortable and happy as possible. Would definitely recommend the facilty!

The caring staff at Lorien were wonderful. My Mother was in the rehabilitation unit and transitioned to assisted living. The administration was wonderful in facilitating this move during a difficult time. The care she received was always excellent. Everyone treated my Mother with kindness and concern. Thank you.

My son has been here for about 8 years. There have been no concerns all this time. Lorien staff is caring, professional, and attentive. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you, Lorien!

Lorien has been very kind to my mother and she sincerely enjoys her time there. However, if considering joining the community, new residents should stay weary of the volunteer Chelsea. I have consistently witnessed her being unkind and/or forceful with my mother and other residents. She is not patient with residents. Her therapy dog is sweet but seems unfit to be around older individuals as the dog is unclean in the spaces (leaving saliva around the space for example) and the volunteer tends to shove the dog at residents. Otherwise, the staff are attentive and caring in all aspects and have made this a safe haven for many.
