I'm writing this review with deep anger and heartbreak regarding the care mother received and los Abuelo assisted-living my mother entered this facility vulnerable and in need of professional care what happened next was a pattern of neglect that has now left her in critical condition after months of trying to remove her from this facility, we were finally able to take her out on March 7 by that time her condition had deteriorated severely she had been left unattended. Her medical condition had clearly worsened and the level of basic care she received was unacceptable for any human being let alone someone interested to a licensed care facility. Our family repeatedly attempted to advocate for her and remove her from the facility instead of cooperating we encounter obstruction and intimidation we were made aware that Elizabeth Burkett the owner of the facility has a husband who is in law-enforcement that connection was repeatedly used in a way that felt threatening when we try to intervene on my mother's behalf even more troubling there were changes made to my mother's financial and administrative matters without proper authorization, including actions affecting her Medicare Medicaid and banking arrangements. These actions effectively prevented our family from stopping payments and created barriers when we tried to remove her from the facility . At the time we were finally able to get her out she required critical medical care due to the level of neglect she had endured. Families should understand exactly where they may be interesting their loved to. My mother deserved dignity, medical attention and compassion. Instead, she left this facility fighting for her life. If you love your parent or family member, please think very carefully be pro replacing them here.

Effective immediately, Ms. Guadalupe Gonzalez will be removed from the facility. This decision is based on serious concerns regarding Ms. Julia, who lacks the proper credentials and qualifications required for her position. During a recent interaction, Ms. Julia was unable to answer basic and essential questions regarding my mother in laws’s care. Instead of providing the necessary information, she chose to terminate the call abruptly. This conduct is unprofessional, unacceptable, and raises significant concerns about the quality of care and oversight in this facility.

Julia, Your attitude during our recent exchange was appalling, disrespectful, and wholly unprofessional. The fact that you chose to hang up on me while I was speaking about my mother’s health demonstrates a complete lack of respect and does not inspire any confidence that she is safe under your care. I hold full legal guardianship and power of attorney for Guadalupe González—authority that was entrusted to me directly by her. Had you allowed me even a moment to speak, you would have understood that I already have counsel in place and the proper documentation to substantiate my role. Effective immediately, Guadalupe González will be withdrawn from your institution. I will be forwarding your information, along with my attorney’s documentation of legal custody and guardianship, to Bienvivir and the appropriate authorities. Your inability to exercise even basic respect has made it clear you are not suited to oversee her well-being. Respectfully, María Isabel González Subject: Immediate Withdrawal and Formal Grievance Regarding Guadalupe González Please be advised that my mother, Guadalupe González, will be withdrawn from this institution as a direct result of the conduct of Julia. I will be contacting ownership and filing formal grievances regarding her behavior and the unacceptable lack of communication demonstrated in our recent exchange. If a staff member cannot answer the most basic and essential questions concerning my mother’s well-being, then it is impossible for me to have any confidence in the care being provided within this facility. Accordingly, I urge you to ensure that any individual entrusted with the care of residents is fully informed, responsive, and proactive. When people place their loved ones here, it is your obligation to remain fully engaged and accountable for their safety, dignity, and welfare. Respectfully, María Isabel González
