The staff is wonderful and the managers are so great at their jobs! They really care about everyone and ensure everyone's safety! They love the residents and the staff!

Kayden and Bree were both so helpful in determining what would be the best situation for my mom. Their knowledge of dementia care is superb. The staff members I met were all so friendly. It was obvious to me everyone at Lotus Park is dedicated to the residents who live there, as well as to the families of residents and to each other. I’m so impressed! UPDATE: 10/9/2025 My mom has continued to live at Lotus Park in West Haven and has thrived in their care! They have a new administrator and nurse since my first review ... Johnny DelVechio and Diana Vazquez ... who are both amazing! All the staff know my mom personally, care about her, and communicate with us regularly about anything she may need. Lotus Park is clean, the food is great, and the activities team come up with creative ways for their residents to maintain social connections and keep them active. Recently, my mom had some changes in her memory and the team at Lotus Park responded swiftly, helping us to get her re-evaluated and working with us to make sure all her new needs were met. Lotus Park has been a god-send for my family! It is such a relief to know my mom's quality of life is respected and her dignity preserved!

I had an exceptional experience at Lotus Park facility. The staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile. Their genuine care and attention make this place feel like a home. Whether it's a casual conversation, assistance with daily activities, or addressing concerns, the staff approaches each interaction with a sincere dedication to resident's well-being.

Great facility. Awesome staff. Our grandma turned 100 and they did an awesome luau for the families at the facility. I recommend this place for senior care.

I can not tell you how relieved I am that we finally had a place that takes care of my grandma. The owner is present every single day. He remembers every patient and every family member. He is hands on and very personable. Some of these reviews that claim "unprofessional" are probably seeking a sterile hospital environment. Lotus has hand made meals, nurses who clearly love their jobs, and an actual routine that is followed by the staff. My grandma was in another nursing home and I visited her frequently because she was being severely neglected. I hate to admit it, but I have only been to visit my grandma three times at Lotus because I trust that she is taken care of. I should visit more. They post videos and photos every day on their social media and it's fun to watch their page and look for photos or videos of my grandma. The outdoor patio is incredible. There's a vegetable garden. Grandma picks weeds every time we go out there because it's something she used to love. They play old music all the time in the common areas. Grandma even started humming along a few times. One complaint I do have is that I wish they would mix the incontinence and severe memory care patients in with the general population. My grandma has lost all her memories but she still loves to engage in conversation. Most of the patients in her section of the facility are non-speaking, but grandma can't be moved because she has incontinence (can't hold her bowel movements). So she is experiencing some loneliness (she does have 1-2 people who are able to converse), but she is WELL taken care of. Showers every day. Nails painted. Never smelly. And my Mom (her daughter) gets text message updates just about every day from the head nurse. They are not auto-generated messages. They are genuine updates from someone who spent time with grandma for the majority of the day. Lotus...thank you! You rescued her from that other facility and now she's in a place I know my Grandpa would approve of.
