LOVE AND CARE MANOR

They take very good care of veterans here. Its a very spacious facility. They have ample free street and parking lot in the back. They have a wonderful staff present in the memory care area.

There's a long, long list of unacceptable complaints I have about Regency Palms. In no particular order, here are the highlights. Dad's room was always dirty. They claimed to clean once a week but clearly did not. As far as I could tell, they never cleaned his apartment. He had moldy food in his refrigerator and even his freezer. I attached a photo of ice cream that I had bought for him 8 months before. It's moldy and disgusting. Proof that they never cleaned his refrigerator or freezer. He had standing water on over 50% of the floor, he easily could have slipped and fallen. The food is horrible and they get tiny portions. He lost over 20 pounds living here. The shuttle bus never worked. They NEVER left the facility. He felt trapped. His mental acuity severely dropped in the 8 months he lived here. He had bloody sheets for weeks and weeks from a cut until I complained, then they finally changed and washed his sheets. Basically I had to complain loudly in order to get anything done. When I decided it was never going to get better, I called and left 30 day notice on their voicemail. If this is true, they don't even receive voicemails. Which is dangerous and unacceptable. When I picked him up they claimed they never received the notice. Now they are trying to charge his bank account money that he doesn't have. This month, they slightly changed their name to see if they could get past the stop payment fraud alert I placed on his account. They are still trying to steal money from him. They are frauds. People that take advantage of elderly people... there are no words. There is a reason this place so cheap. Do yourself and your loved one a favor. WALK, DON'T RUN from this horrible place.

What a beautiful community of friendly residents and staff! Mom rented a little studio here for two weeks of Respite Care--for less than the cost of two weeks of vacation. The rooms are clean and bright. The meals were delicious, and Dad was able to join her in the restaurant-style dining room each time he visited. The best part was knowing Mom was in a safe environment with a host of family-oriented people who went above and beyond to care for her while I was out of town!!

Recently moved my grandmother into Regency Palms Oxnard, all I can say is WOW!! The 2 directors Sarina and Ty were amazing throughout the entire process. They helped me get through an extremely stressful situation with kindness and compassion. The entire staff are beyond fantastic and patient! It feels like family here at Regency Palms, and I'm so happy I found this hidden gem of a community!

We moved my dad & step-mom into the Regency alittle over a year ago. He's in A.L. & she's in Memory Care. We love the staff! The Activities Director, Dante Boone does an outstanding job keeping the residents engaged with various activities, entertainment & trips.
