LUCAS COURT

My experience with Lucas Place has been surprisingly wonderful. They are extremely caring about our family member and always go out of their way to make his life better. I would recommend anyone looking for an assisted living facility to tour and talk with the staff. I know you will be pleased.

When the time came for Mom to consider moving to an assisted living community, we did some searching to find one we thought would best fit her needs. We had her out and about one day and suggested that she might take a look at Lucas Place. We were met by Maria and the staff with smiles as we entered. As soon as we stepped past the entry way to see the lobby and dining area, Mom asked when she could move in! It has been 7 years and Mom is happy and content at Lucas Place. The staff has always been pleasant and attentive, and take great care of our Mom. She really appreciates all the attention she gets. We have found that the folks there communicate regularly with us especially if there is a special need. It has been a pleasure to be part of the community there. 👍

My husband's parents moved to Lucas Place four years ago when they were told they could no longer live alone. Mom had fallen and injured herself many times, and Dad was developing dementia from a brain injury. Although they were sad to leave their home, they were happy at Lucas Place from the beginning. The staff welcomed them and made them feel safe and loved. There were some trying times during Dad's last year as his mind and body began to rapidly deteriorate, but the staff at Lucas Place went above and beyond to help him and Mom and our family. We will always be grateful. Dad has been gone almost a year now, and Mom still loves her Lucas Place family. She calls Lucas Place her home.

This was my first experience with a facility like Lucas Place and they far more than exceeded my expectations. I do not trust anyone to take care of my mother and this time I had to. God directed me to Lucas Place and Maria, Greta and the staff handled everything from there. My mother had a blast and the best part was she enjoyed her room and felt safe. She actually wants to come back and we just moved her into a new home. Lol. May GOD continue to bless Lucas Place and their facility with increasing health, strength and wealth. It was a difficult decision to place my mother at Lucas Place; after all we have an empty nest and have plenty of room for her, not to mention it would be less expensive. We were having Hospice coming 5-days a week for an hour to assist her with showering. My Mother Pauline lived with my husband and I for a year. She was sleeping most of the day and having difficulty walking and getting up from her chair. Since she has been at Lucas Place, she has improved greatly. She is chipper from all the socialization with other seniors. She is walking much better than she was and gets up easily from any chair; it is truly amazing. Because of this my husband and I both agree that moving her into Lucas Place was for the best. I liked how “Greta” (Community Relations Manager) told me that I can now be her daughter and not the care giver. I highly recommend Lucas Place, it is a loving community for seniors. Now my mother receives the additional care she needs.
