LUTHER MANOR

First time visiting. Impressed by the cleanliness, no smells, friendly staff. Residents appear well taken care of in this home.

I called and toured Luther Manor assisted living for my Mother and Daryl the administrator told me that someone would come down to Appleton to interview her. Well theee weeks go by and I get a call from a grumpy nurse who told me she doesn't have time to go there. She wanted me to pick her up and bring her in for the interview with less than 24 hours notice. I couldn't make the 8 am time frame for the interview. She wouldn't change the time when I explained I live 2 hours north of Marinette to pick her up and I couldn't because she needs a medical van. Lakeland Care tried to set up a virtual meeting and then Darryl said that they have technical issues. This is 2 1/2 months later and he didn't return the message with Lakeland and let her know if they fixed the issue. I've never been treated so badly. He couldn't call to tell me what was going on. They don't return calls, they are rude and I wasted 2 1/2 months when I could've gone elsewhere. I wanted to move her up here by me so I could spend the last days of her life as I am disabled and can't travel far. She died unexpectedly and I just wanted people to know how rude the nurse was and how they are incompetent.

Just a nice group of people all around! Staff are kind and very helpful!

I visited grandmother here. The atmosphere is great for elderly patients that are in need of round the clock care. They have excellent staff and services offer live music performances, games other various activities for all residents to attend. The place is well kept very clean sterile so ideal environment for the services that they provide.
