LUTHERAN HAVEN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY

What a blessed facility. Though this facility has been around since the 1940's the upkeep is amazing. While visiting with a resident for our appointment I was blessed by kindness and gratitude. The staff is amazing and the facility grounds from inside to out clean and very well kept. There's additional add ons as construction is working through without inconvenience to the facility or residents. If you're in need of a safe, secure and well-maintained facility for your precious love ones please drive by and stop in there.

Lutheran Haven is quickly changing and not for the best. They have closed the skilled nursing facility which was part of the full campus experience for elderly people who wanted to go from independent living to assisted living and if needed, to the skilled nursing facility. This was 'sold' to the residents and families as a reason to chose Lutheran Haven and spend $200,000.00 plus to get into the community only to have this now change. Recommendation: there is not a benefit to join this community any longer for an upfront, expensive fee. Find other options that charge a monthly rent and no upfront fee or a community that charges an upfront fee but keeps to their commitment for the various lifecare needs. Not one that closes the facilities once they have collected all of the funding from the residents. Very disappointed in how St. Lukes and Lutheran Haven have handled this. A refund should be given to these poor elderly people who invested so much of their money for services that are no longer offered. Very sad.
