My mother, wast' in the memory care unit? I was going up there every day to see her and to check on her. Since I was Going up there has been 3 people. That's passed away within a 6 month. And my mother was the fourth person that passed away the morning that I went up there. She was sitting out, eaten her breakfast. I ask my mother if she wanted to go back to her room and she said yes. I willed her back to her room and sat her in her chair. And a while later, she started getting sick and I asked my mother. Is she had to go to the bathroom? And she felt constipated so I got her to the bathroom and then I went to the nurse Carol and after that, my mom felt constipated and if she could give her something and her reply was if your mother got out of bed, she wouldn't feel Costa painted. So she so she brought her some waxed. She didn't check her out and seat, Jack. Her vitals are nothing like that. So after she left i asked my mother if she want to lay down and she said yes so I laid my mother down and she looked like she was Reston okay? And then I left for about 45 minutes and when I returned. I went over to check on her. My mother was cold and sweat and she had saliva run an out of her mouth so I went and got the other nurse and she was real helpful and we had to call the paramedics and we got it to the hospital and within 2 hours, my mother's passed away. Some some of the management and staff workers really don't care about the residents. They're just there for a paycheck. I noticed that some of the patients when they take them out to sit in the eat and if they don't want to eat, they just take their food away. And don't try to help him eat. And I hear them talkin with one another about the patients there. I would not recommend put near love ones there. If you're not there to just check on your love ones.

My MIL Billie Pugh is very happy here and is being taken well care of. The staff seems to really care about her.

Madison at the Range Memory Care facility -If you want to just drop off your loved one at this facility and forget them , this is the place for you ! If it doesn’t bother you that your loved one is allowed to sleep in his room all day ,not engaged in any activities, not being monitored , have other patients constantly walk in your loved ones apartment , and even beat up by other residents , then this is the place of your dreams ! If you want your loved one to be unbathed, unshaven and in a dirty environment, then look no further ! If you make requests for updates on your loved ones behalf which are ignored by management , then OMG you have hit the jackpot ! Now having said all this , there are some caring and friendly employees at this facility which I always tried to be respectful of as I didn’t want to risk them being neglectful of my loved one in any way . To those individuals I thank them and will be forever grateful for their kindness. Most of this group took the time to wish us well as we moved our loved one out last week and all had the same comment , which was they were glad we were getting him out of there and in a better situation . What we had envisioned for my loved one as being a safe and clean environment bustling with group activities and forging friendships , with constant supervision and medical care ,was pretty much a dismal experience at this facility . Always ‘short handed’ and employees coming and going . The potential for an excellent facility is there but honestly would require better and more scrupulous management . Greatness starts at the top . I wish them all the best but for my family and I , we are sleeping much better at night knowing our precious loved one is out of there .

If you care anything about your loved ones, DO NOT have them live here. During my brief stay, I witnessed so many different things that were against rules and state policies, of which only one was Food Safety Codes. The Administration basically had no clue what was happening within the different areas of the facility. Most of the staff were nice; however, when there is a plan put in place by the family, it is expected that those plans are at least attempted to be followed. And woe to people that actually have an emergency when they have to go to a hospital. The admin will try to start eviction proceedings so they won't be able to come back, and so won't be held accountable. I also had a chance to speak with some of the residents living there. Few said they were happy with the facility or level of care that they received. Some of the food served was completely inedible. A few actually wanted to leave. As it is, after my mom passed, we found a better fit for my dad. I have heard that the situation here was better before all the major staff and admin changes. The only positive thing I can say about the place: it was super clean.

Everyone we worked with at Madison at the Range was superb. The admin staff, the nursing staff, the cleaning staff, food service, etc.- they made me feel comfortable leaving my dad in his first home away from home in 43 years. Dad adjusted really well in the memory care unit, I think due to the friendly staff and activity coordinators that served him. The putting green had to be his favorite though! His room was always clean, and his food looked delicious when I was there for meal time. I would highly recommend anyone making the tough decision for assisted living to check out Madison at the Range, at least let them give you a tour and you can see for yourself how great they care for their residents.
