This facility was a great place for my father. He spent 5 years there and was greatly taken care of. Communication with the staff and owner was never an issue regardless the severity of the problem. They went the extra mile multiple times. Additional advantages of being next to St Joe's and other medical facilities that helps save times on transfers, especially if the situation is critical.

My aunt was a resident for about 18 months. The care she received was exceptional in every way. The owner, Anu was amazing to work with and all the employees were very loving and kind. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing attentive care for their loved one.

My mom lived at Aguila ALF for 18 months, and during that time, she received exceptional care in a warm and supportive environment. We chose this facility because of its reputation for providing high-quality care, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that Aguila ALF was a place where my mom would receive the attention, compassion, and specialized care she needed. The staff at Aguila ALF were outstanding. My mom’s dementia meant she needed a lot of support with daily activities, and the caregivers were always attentive, patient, and gentle with her. Whether it was helping her with dressing, assisting with meals, or managing her medications, the team ensured she was comfortable and well cared for. I especially appreciated how they got to know my mom as an individual, understanding her likes and dislikes, which made her feel more at home. Aguila ALF has a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained environment. The common areas are bright and welcoming, with plenty of space for residents to socialize, or enjoy quiet time. The facility is designed with safety in mind, with wide hallways. The rooms were always clean, and they were set up in a way that made her feel at home, with personal touches like family photos. I never had to worry about the cleanliness of the space or the overall maintenance of the facility—it was always in great condition. One of the things that truly stood out at Aguila ALF was their communication with families. As a family member, I was always kept up to date on my mom’s health and well-being. Whether it was a phone call or an in-person meeting, the staff took the time to answer any questions I had and to update me on her progress. I never felt out of the loop, and they were quick to let me know if anything changed with my mom’s care or condition. Aguila ALF provided a variety of activities that kept my mom engaged and stimulated. Although she was often quiet, she loved the music therapy sessions and enjoyed the occasional movie night with other residents. The staff worked hard to create a sense of community, with group activities that encouraged socialization while still respecting the individual needs of residents with dementia. Our experience at Aguila ALF was overwhelmingly positive. The care my mom received went beyond what we had hoped for, and I felt confident that she was in good hands every day. The staff’s professionalism, compassion, and dedication made all the difference in my mom’s life, and I will always be grateful for the support they provided. Aguila ALF is truly a place where families can trust that their loved ones will be treated with dignity, respect, and love. I would highly recommend Aguila ALF to anyone seeking a quality assisted living facility, especially for those with dementia or other memory care needs. The environment is warm, the staff is caring, and the level of individualized attention is truly exceptional. The owner is extremely helpful and is always in communication with the family. My mother resided at Aguila’s Habana Avenue facility in Tampa, Florida, for four-and-a-half years beginning in December 2018. Her caregivers treated her respectfully, with care and compassion. When we decided on Aguila for my mother’s assisted living, we were impressed with the owner/director’s knowledge, involvement, and care. She was our partner in this uncharted time of our lives, and we are forever grateful to her. The facility was and is well-maintained, the staff is very capable, and the environment is pleasant. After a brief time to acclimate, my mother said she was pleased with the treatment and care she received from the staff, that the facility was exceptionally clean, and she also commented on the meals being very tasty. The staff are wonderful, and even though primarily speak Spanish, they manage to communicate with the English-speaking residents; my mother was fluent in English and Spanish. As of this writing, Aguila offers annual visits by a mobile optometrist, regular visits by a podiatrist, routine visits by a hair stylist, on-call doctor and nurse, plus more. When my mother needed dental care, we partnered to find a mobile dental service to come on-site. My mother was very content residing at Aguila, and I experienced great peace of mind knowing she was well-cared for. I highly recommend them.
