I have a loved one here and we are both so happy! Staff is friendly and kind! Martha is the heartbeat of this facility! She has a passion for the elderly and ensures that they are treated well. Lots of activities and field trips to keep residents happy and engaged! Martha helped to make this transition easier! I will forever be greatful for her genuine care! It is pricey but I can sleep at night knowing she is cared for and best of all sje is happy!

This staff has gone above and beyond in ensuring that my loved ones could come to stay at this facility. My loved ones have their own room, which is quite spacious. They are great at ensuring that they have their meds when it's time. As with most assisted living facilities they are a bit understaffed, but it's amazing what they are able to accomplish! Cost is dependent on the level of care one needs, but what you get for it is good. You get room and board, medical assistance 24/7, and so on. You do have to pay extra if you want or need the staff to do your laundry for you - there are a few little extras here and there, but they're reasonable. You can even bring your pet along with you! The other residents are really nice and as one of them said, it really does become a little family in there! The grounds are clean and well-kept. While they didn't yet need any of the other levels of care (memory care, long term care), I was struck by how clean and well-kept those areas and their residents were. No one looked out of sorts. Of course this is all fairly recent so I will try to update as time goes by, but offhand the only thing my loved ones has complained about is the food. They have always kind of been foodies and a bit picky, so take that into consideration. The food has always looked great when I've seen it and they have a nice variety.

First day on a mission I went 14 hours without pain medicine. Finally the nurse came in at 2 AM was very kind had no other issue except when a nurse would not give me pain medicine a few minutes early exactly 27 minutes early as I was going into She knew I was going into physical therapy. I went to the last room just before Physical Therapy. She never came in. I got back to my room. It took an additional three hours which at that time I was still in a lot of pain. I’m not sure, but I think her name was either little or small. She was a tall person and I associated with with her height as being the opposite so I’m not sure of his short miss but I can find out for sure and let you know I wrote it. I gave it to my girlfriend that day. Other than that this place has been unbelievable. Physical Therapy Department has been five stars Nurse practitioner. have had very little problems with my medication’s having a history in the medical field I know nothing is perfect but this place was really one was great. I gave it a five star.

After a bad experience with a local rehab facility my Mother was transferred to Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Smithfield, and I have to say I couldn’t be more happy with that decision. My mother was admitted for a short term stay for rehabilitation, and the whole rehab staff was wonderful and caring. They worked 5-6 days a week to get my mother back on her feet and feeling good again. The nursing staff and the administration of the facility are also amazing. Everyone was caring and compassionate to her needs and helped however they could.

My mother was sent to Riverside for rehabilitation and physical therapy. When we arrived, the front desk didn’t know we were coming. Her bathroom was dirty and the air conditioner made so much noise that it kept her up at night. We brought these concerns to the staff and the cleanliness was addressed. The AC was not fixed. Her PT and OT services were fine, but my mother had to be rushed to the hospital after only a day here because they gave her medication that she should not have been taking. She is diabetic and they were not checking her blood sugar. The ER was able to save her but I would not trust this facility ever again. It’s unfortunate because the staff are nice enough but there are not enough of them to truly keep an eye on everything. If I had not been in the room when my mother had low blood sugar, she would have died. The call button is on the bed too far away and there are not enough nurses to be able to check in. Additionally, the onboarding process was them just handing me papers. I had to ask to speak with someone about the process and ask to have a meeting about my mothers care plan. Do not trust this facility if you have anywhere else to go.
