Magnolia Manor of Tupelo

My mother had a situation where her eye was bleeding after an injury at night. I called multiple times, selected every option, and never could get anyone on the phone. They are supposed to have a nurse present and check on patients every 2 hours…. Needless to say that didn’t happen.

My brother was there for about three months and I could not get him moved out soon enough. It was unclean, the food was awful and most of the employees did not want to be bothered with him. There were a couple of very kind ladies but for the most part it was clear that the job was not their calling, no compassion. Fortunately I was able to move him to a place he loved.

My 98-year-old mother has been at Magnolia Manor since May of 2023. The staff there are exceptional. They met her every need from laundry to cleaning her room. There are many activities for the residents and music groups. The nurses are on top of her medications every day. They even help her with her eye drops! My mother has said she should have moved here when she was 85!!!

My mother in law moved in in Dec of last year and she thanks us every day for finding such a wonderful place to live. The first thing we noticed was it was very clean. She’s in the assisted living area and says the staff is so nice and that she’s happy and well cared for. She’s met other residents and now has awesome new friends. The staff is amazing, Alecia the Admissions Director is so knowledgeable about our Moms needs and makes sure all our concerns are addressed and cared for. They are attentive and often go out of their way to make sure she has what she needs. They’ll call if they see something that needs attention or to just tell us things they feel are important. Nurse Pat is so sweet and caring and thoughtful, she always makes sure Mom gets her meds daily and any extra medical attention she may need. We highly recommend Magnolia Manor for your loved one, Mom loves living here, we know this because she tells us every day..

We are looking at full time senior living for my Aunt. We have looked at other facilities around Tupelo. MM is small boutique style senior living with a memory care side as well. The staff we encountered were happy to be working @ MM. I did briefly engage with other residents at my tour. They gave positive feedback about MM. This facility is the #1 for my aunt. We will revisit and make our final decision. I recommend you schedule a tour.
