MAINE VETERANS' HOME - MACHIAS

Lacey and her team made the last 1.5 years of our dad's life fantastic!! The smaller facility allowed for a close nit interaction with everyone that is living there.

We moved my mom in September 5th and she absolutely loves it here. All the staff are wonderful and amazing with her.

I recently had a friend become a resident at the VA facility. The facility is a warm and an inviting home. The employees from nurses, social worker, laundry, crma's, and maintenance were very welcoming, helpful and pleasant. The private rooms were large and residents were able to decorate to their liking. This place feels more like a home than a long-term residence.

The Machias Veterans Home is an amazing facility. The staff are so very kind and helpful. They go out of their way to make the residents and their families their top priority. At a time when we needed angels in our lives, they were there for our family.

My father was a resident of the Machias Veterans home for over 4 years. Our family is so thankful for the love and care that he received there. The staff were wonderful and treated the residents as if they are their own family. If you have to put your loved one in a home I would highly recommend Machias Veterans Home.
