Update 2 years later: December 2025 Thank you for the Christmas Party and the gift bag for Mom. I was grateful to get a picture with Santa and my family. Brian is a good photographer. I know you probably already know this, but I am so grateful to have you in my life. You care so much for all the residents. You are always so positive. And you go the extra mile in taking care of the families, when the families are feeling the stress of making important (and sometimes difficult) decisions for their loved one. Thank you for being you. Thank you for caring for my Mom the way that you always have. And thank you for having the answers to questions I didn't even know I had. You have made my life so much easier. Happy Holidays, and thank you again. December 2023 We love Manchester Homes at Queens Ferry. Mom needed a higher level of care after her recent hospital visit. The caregivers at Queens Ferry provide this. They are so kind to my Mom. Sandi, the nurse, stepped in and arranged for the equipment and the additional services that Mom would need. Mom is on a diabetic diet, and the caregivers provide meals that help with this. The food is very healthy. Mom has a beautiful room that overlooks a pond filled with ducks. The rooms are large, and each room has it's own handicapped bathroom. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. This home was built to be a "care giving" home. It has many handicapped features that were specially built for this home. Paul Markowitz, from Senior Living Specialists, recommended this home. I am so glad he did. Our family appreciated his help in finding this place for Mom. Our family appreciated the care that Sandi provided. We were in a situation where her prior memory care facility could not take her back due to her immobility. After a long hospitalization/rehab/skilled nursing stay, we really appreciated the home-like environment, the caring staff, and the expertise that Sandi provided in getting Mom settled in to this higher level of care.

Queensferry has been a great place for my mom. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood and feels like a home, not a facility. The caretakers have been wonderful: attentive, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. Hair stylist comes once a week for on-site service. Talented musicians often come weekly to entertain the residents. Christmas party included family members and provided great food with enjoyable entertainment. Nursing director very responsive and knows each resident personally.

When I entered the Queens Ferry home on my first visit it immediately felt like a warm environment. Sandi, the nurse for the homes is a gem. Every time I contacted her, she promptly answered all of my questions and provided excellent medical care for my mother. The staff at Queens Ferry was very welcoming when I visited. They were professional, kind and patient with my mother and treated her in a dignified manner. She always had a smile for them and she appreciated their help. The Queens Ferry home met and exceeded all my expectations of the place I had always envisioned and hoped to find for my mother when she needed additional care. I highly recommend Manchester Care Homes. I feel very fortunate to have had the staff at Queens Ferry home take care of my mother.

Once I realized that my mother was going to need more care than I could provide at my own home, we moved her to Manchester Care Homes-Queens Ferry in February 2022. It was exactly what she needed, and she was instantly comfortable with the amazing staff. Each and every caregiver was attentive to her needs and wishes. The thing that impressed me the most about Queens Ferry is that it truly felt "like home"---everything about the warm and inviting environment is designed to make the residents feel like they are living in their own home. When my mother passed away, the staff was so accommodating to our family's needs--I am grateful for everything they did for us.

Mom has lived here since January 2019 and our experiences have been nothing but positive. I've recommended Manchester Homes to several of my friends. There's not a day that goes by that my Mother hasn't told me that the staff is very caring--that's very important. Plus it's a clean, well-maintained facility. The food is average, and that's why I've not given this a 5-star rating. But whenever Mother hasn't liked what is being served, the staff is willing to fix her a bowl of soup, which is much more to her liking.
