MANGROVE BAY

Mom was welcomed and integrated into the Mangrove Bay community from the beginning. A qualified , competent and experienced team made sure that we were kept informed regarding administrative matters, while they demonstrated empathy, kindness and respect towards her.

Mangrove is a beautiful place to have a for my loved one. Its atmosphere is modern and clean. Best of all is the wonderful staff. All are caring and attentive so I know my mom is good hands.

Great location, wonderful staff, clean facility and lots of great food and fun activities for my mom. She loves Mangrove Bay. UPDATE: Still a wonderful facility with very caring and professional staff. Sadly, however, the out-of-state owner, Hawthorn Senior Living (Vancouver, WA) regularly increases their rates (room & board, etc.). This year, for example, the annual rates increased by a staggering $9,500 or 9.66%. This in addition to an increase in the very recent past. This is not the staff's fault, it is coming from the greedy corporate owners. If you are interested in Mangrove Bay, you must be prepared to absorb meaningful, regular rate increases. Mangrove Bay can quickly become very difficult to afford with these outrageous rate increases. Your options are terrible: Pay-up or... get out. Residents and their families are put in a horrible position. Think about it.

Donna Marie is a great asset to the Mangrove Bay sales office. My mom and I called to learn about senior living and what Mangrove Bay offered, and Donna Marie invited us to visit the next day. She is very friendly and positive, and we appreciate the time she took with our family. I was so impressed that Donna Marie knew every resident by name as we passed by different people on our tour. Donna Marie’s welcoming approach helped my mom begin to feel comfortable about transitioning to a retirement community. Donna Marie answers questions in a caring way and loves helping others. Having family at Mangrove Bay for over a year now and I am always impressed with how the staff welcomes you into the facility. All the residence are happy with their surroundings, the friends they have made and the things they get to do every day.
