If I could give negative stars I would. My grandmother had a fall do to an infection when she was living in her home. It was decided to move her to an assisted living facility. She does not medically meet the criteria to move into a nursing home. The nature of her fall and illness was explained to the people here at the mansion. They were very kind to said that they understood and that they had several different care levels that were prorated for whenever she was in need. As the place is very clean and new we thought it was a good fit. She was entered into the facility on a care level one ($250 MONTHLY) which is the lowest beginning level. We signed a contract stating that at any point if she needed a higher care level and needed more help that they could provide said care level. Of course this all costs more money and we're fine with that. A few months later grandma got another infection unbeknownst to us. She was found in her room falling half-and-half out of her recliner. She was found by the trash collection person. This person states they went to get help. Grandmother's room is on the main level the closest place to all the nursing staff. After this person leaves the room to "go get help" luckily a few of her grandchildren stop by to visit. They knock and holler for Grandma for about 10 minutes and received nothing. So they go to search for somebody to let them into the room assuming grandma is sleeping. This is when they were informed that they had received notice that she was found falling half in and half out of the chair and left in said situation. That's right for at least 10 minutes grandmother was just left there not helped not assisted not a phone call made to family...nothing. Thankfully her grandchildren got her out of the chair got her cleaned up. She had apparently messed herself as we are unaware how long she had been in that position. As myself was made aware of this from the grandchildren not the facility. I came right down and decided I should take her to the hospital. Where we were told she again had another infection. We spend all day in the ER. She got medication we brought her back home we fed her dinner she was doing very well. That evening I went back home to my home. At 2:30 in the morning I received a phone call from the overnight nurse. Was told that my grandmother had had a fall. Was not told whether or not she was okay. But was told at least four different times that she could no longer stay here. I immediately got out of bed and drove the hour and a half through a thick fog to get to Grandma. Was greeted by said nurse who stated that she needed to be placed in a rehab facility, back in the hospital or I needed to stay with her 24/7. Let me remind you all about the care package. At this point since she is ill and the staff during the day were all notified of her diagnosis. I wrongfully assumed that if she was in need of any extra care that they would do so and just charge us a higher care package. It never occurred to me that she would then be told she needs to leave. That same day which happened to be on Monday as soon as businesses began to open we did begin to work on finding her another place to live. At no point has management ever came and tell us anything different than what the night nurse said. Night Nurse informed me that she would be speaking with management. We have not left her alone and have been with her 24/7. She will be going to a new facility. I only recommend putting your loved ones here if they are in perfectly good medical condition. It's more of a retirement center than a assisted living. They do cooker meals and clean up her apartment and bring her her medicine. But for 5,800 a month we expected the contract obligations to hold. Again we were never informed by management that she could stay or that there would be a higher care package or that our 24/7 presence was not needed. Due to our lack of faith we will not leave her anyway. If your family member is in need of assistance this is not the place for them. Contract obligations only apply to you and not them.

The Mansion on Main tremendously exceeded all expectations when it came to the care and kindness that was given to my husband’s grandmother. We were in a situation where we had to move her somewhere quickly and Courtney got us in the same day to see the grounds. We took a tour and within 5 minutes we had made our decision. The move in process was so smooth, the facility is spotless, the staff is so kind and was happy to see us every visit and the residents welcomed her with open arms. Grandma loved her nurses Chris and Michelle! We are so thankful that she had a comfortable, happy place full of people that truly cared about her that she was able to peacefully live out the rest of her days. I cannot recommend The Mansion Main enough!
