⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Ms. Davon – Marbella Independent Living, San Jose We recently visited Marbella Independent Living in San Jose, and our experience was truly exceptional—thanks to Ms. Davon. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with genuine warmth and made us feel completely comfortable. Ms. Davon took the time to explain every aspect of the Independent Living services with remarkable clarity. She walked us through the community amenities, activity options, dining services, safety features, and the overall lifestyle residents can expect. What we appreciated most was her patience and sincerity. She never rushed us, encouraged questions, and ensured we understood how Marbella supports residents in maintaining independence while having reliable support available whenever needed. Her knowledge of the community, combined with her compassionate approach, helped us clearly visualize what life at Marbella would look like. She highlighted the social activities, wellness programs, beautifully maintained spaces, and the peace of mind that comes from living in a caring, well-managed senior community. Her explanations were detailed yet easy to understand, and she presented everything with professionalism and a personal touch. Overall, our visit was incredibly positive. Ms. Davon is a wonderful representative of Marbella—kind, informative, and dedicated to making families feel confident in their decision. We left with a strong sense of trust and appreciation. Brookdale hosted a lively casino night event for residents and prospective residents. An Italian buffet, featuring a myriad of pasta choices was offered, snd cannolis, cheese cake, and double chocolate chips cookies served as dessert. Afterward a variety of games of chance were offered. Staff was all gussied up in appropriate wear! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼👍🌹❤️

I really appreciated the excellent cleanliness at this place, well organized, bright& specious. Smells great at all stories& levels. The interior designs for eyes to enjoy. Lively with good energy . Am glad I got to visit my client at this facility, great experience over all. Congratulations to all staffers to work at this great environment .🌻🫶🏻

Mixed experience. Independent living was pretty good. When his health turned Brookdale went downhill. Hard to get someone involved to help. Poor communication, conflicting information. We spent days caring for him with no help. Once we navigated the system we had to move to assisted living where it got worse. Hospice care was not provided as promised, we had to stay there to insure he was cared for. Response was poor until we complained, just seemed like many employees didn’t care. That said there were some great employees that were compassionate and helpful. Front desk staff were a big help. I know leadership has changed there. I hope they are not only going to focus on making it look prettier and address some of the real problems. Quite a disappointment overall at a time we needed the support.
