The folks at Margate Manor have exceeded my expectations and I am so happy I found this place for my mom!! Gary the administrator is GREAT! Any time I have questions he gets back to me within hours. Sheila the head nurse is awesome—she explains medical issues to me in lay terms. I love that the facility is of moderate size—the staff there get to know the resident’s one-on-one. All the staff are lovely, compassionate and very responsive to my mom needs. My mom has come to know and love them as family!

One of the many wonderful things about Margate Manor is that it was an old hotel and still has some of the amenities. Some rooms have a lake view and the building has a common dining area. The reception desk now serves as the welcoming / nursing station and the area is relaxed and unobtrusive. The administrator, nursing staff to everyone in between are friendly, calming and very reassuring. Visiting is easy. It also does not matter if you come announced or unannounced, you will find everything the same. The rooms and building are always very clean and they do not have a huge turnover in staff. The other amazing thing is the care is so good that the people who reside there tend to live a very long time. I can sleep at night knowing that my father is in excellent hands! You really cannot put a price tag on that!

My mom was in Margate Manor from October thru May. While she was there she was cared for by staff that was concerned for her health, safety, and welfare. She received excellent meals, care by great doctors, and encouragement by concerned staff. I would highly recommend Margate Manor to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

My beloved mama fell numerous times with injury at Margate Manor.

What a crap place don't send your loved one there the aides are mean not caring the management is for crap.worst place in the world. Run do t go here .
