We called this office several times over the past week and a half to get updates on my dad’s status. They kept responding “Oh, he might be in today or tomorrow.” Come to find out he had been at the funeral home for a week. We called the medical examiner for the first time this morning and received this information. Once we found this information from the medical examiner, the funeral home then finally start taking our inquiries seriously. No reason this process should’ve added unnecessary stress to our tragic loss. Then the lady from this funeral home had the nerve to laugh on the phone about this situation. Horrible experience at this funeral home, do not recommend at all. I am editing to add that we called the Nogales Martinez Funeral Home 3 (THREE) times over the span of a week prior to calling the Tucson Medical Examiner. Each time they said that they hadn’t received the body yet. We understand that the process takes time, but why lie about having it when you did? Unprofessional and unethical. All this talk about you’re sorry for our experience while not addressing our actual concerns. My review still stands, nothing has been addressed at all. We have full reason to doubt the ethics of this business and how they handle the seriousness of their job. Also an employee at your business laughed on the phone, NOT the medical examiner. The medical examiners office was VERY helpful.

The only positive time Mom's passing was the time Martinez Funeral Chapel was involved. The burden was lifted when I realized everything was taken care of. Jackie was up front about pricing and a good listener. They have a nice building that's been hidden by freeway construction, but is spacious and comforting. Emma provided solid post funeral resources that I was unable to find elsewhere. Thank you.

The Martinez Funeral Home was compassionate and caring in planning my father’s funeral. Their customer service is excellent. Starting with the initial call, Tamme listened, answered my questions, and offered suggestions. My appreciation to Liza for her assistance and support during this difficult time , while arranging my father’s funeral.

Planning your fathers funeral is never easy, but as hard as it was I don't know what I would of done without Lisa. She was very empathetic, understanding and amazing. She had such amount of patience. Gave me time, options and even though she was busy she always gave me her undivided attention, always willing to help and make this process easier. Lisa THANK YOU!
