My mother in law is at this place. We were told prior to her admission that there would be no problem implementing programs - provided by therapy staff when she received therapy in order to improve her quality of life. After the fact they had been nothing but ongoing issues to perform more so on pm’s. We were told that they have limited staff after 2:00 when all that is expected is to stand at rail for a few minutes or do leg exercises. PM staff have been extremely resistant, belligerent and rude to myself and husband when we’ve enquired into this issue. We were told it was a safety issue. They perform unsafe EZ stand transfers moving her approximately 12 -15’ recliner to Bathroom when they even report that she has a difficult time standing. Being a retired physical therapist assistant- I have seen people almost slide out of these despite being strapped in yet for her to stand at rail with 1 person behind her with every when she is able to stand with 1 assist is unsafe???? We have gotten nothing but mixed communication. Day staff has been easier to work with and Stacy the manager and Barb the owner have been easy to talk to and willing to problem solve which gives us hope but either staff are doing things behind there backs or safety concerns and goals to help my mother in law to achieve her highest quality of life have been only minimally addressed at there convenience vs what is good for her. They have been instructed by therapy to attempt pivot tranfers before using a mechanical lift which has also been very spotty and inconsistent.
